As a candidate he campaigned almost exclusively on grievance in 2016, asserting just before he ran that the country “is a hellhole. We are going down fast.”

He argued that U.S. presidents were “stupid leaders” who made the “stupidest” deals and started stupid wars led by generals who were “reduced to rubble.” Federal judges were “very unfair” and “a disgrace.” The United States, he said, is a “laughingstock all over the world.”

American cities were “war zones,” even as crime fell to near-record lows. The heartland was no better — littered with “rusted out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation,” as he declared in an inaugural address that famously decried what he called “American carnage.”

Trump has made clear he will campaign aggressively for reelection on the “love-it-or-leave-it” theme, a nativist slogan popularized during the anti-communist witch hunts of the 1950s, and then against anti-war protesters and other activists in the social and political turmoil of the 1960s.

Trump is the complainer in chief — but tells Democrats who complain to leave the country

Making America great again was his slogan, when did America stop being great?

How is it that when he criticizes America he is being patriotic, but anyone he doesn't like that criticizes America is being anti American.

Please explain.

Because recent American leaders HAVE been quite stupid, making stupid deals and conducting war by stupid methodologies. Many federal judges have been disgraceful and under Obama, we were a laughing stock, with the world taking advantage of his constantly grabbing his ankles.

As to the Democrat-run cities, they speak for themselves.

He criticizes those who hate the country, openly stated. They criticize Americans and foundational American thought in favor of Marxist nonsense..

Just look at Detroit, a black Democrat run city for decades. It looks like Germany after UK bombed them.

America became less than great when illegals poured in.

You greatly exaggerate, first of all. Dishonestly characterizing positions and problems is
the sign of a weak insincere divisive argument.

Trump wants to restore what made America great. It sure wasn't progressive nonsense (do away with borders, with genders, with the electoral college, do away with capitalism, do away with civil order, do away with freedom of thought, expression, speech, etc.).
That's what Trump wants. How awful of him! What a monster.

The Omar, AOC ilk want to replace America with their own dystopic version of it.

A Green New Deal socialist America where Jews are despised and sexual reassignment surgeries in elementary school aged children becomes a common thing.
Where our borders are nonexistent and we become like a Greyhound bus terminal-flop house for the world.
Where people punch their political foes in the face or send their paramilitary wing, Antifa,
around to break bones and skulls. How do you like that?

See if you can figure that all out, bro.

One is making America great again, the other group is trying to destroy it. At this point you are free to whine and complain or leave.

Also Superbadbrutha Do a little research into Barry Obama's and Valerie Jarret's section 8 housing fiasco. (in Chicago)

The projects filmed in Good Times hopefully are still standing.

Obama-built stuff? Notsomuch.

Where are all the deals Trump promised?

He is great at tearing up existing treaties but has yet to provide anything better.

Most countries refuse to deal with him

I figured this was already common knowledge. I guess some still don't know the truth.

Black, Muslims, Jews, Hispanics and the other minorities don't like America and if they don't like America they should leave.

Hah! Obama did that ten years back.
No, President Obama just pissed you conservatives off by being black and brought out the racist in all of you.

I am conservative and I didn’t like most of Obama’s policies, nor did I like most of Clinton’s policies, nor do I like most of the Democrats running for President because of their polices. I also didn’t like some of Bush’s policies. Had nothing to do with anyone’s skin color, it had to do with their belief system, that is more liberal than mine.

I also felt Obama was a divider more than a uniter, the same as I feel about Trump.

And you are completely entitled to you opinion.

You do realize that had he been white he'd have never been president. There's nothing more racist than electing a president solely because of his skin color, and that solely to control a particular voting bloc.
