In normal world, this is known as "fraud".

The actual fact is that there is far more evidence of malfeasance by the Biden Crime Family than of Trump colluding with Putin or screwing lenders by overestimating the value of his properties.
Just a shameless, embarrassing lie.

In fact, you don't even believe it. You just say what you think you're supposed to say.

Lots of that going around, these days.

Because Orange Man is Bad

The problem with accepting your Fascist version of Justice is that its a bottomless pit! Once you eliminate your political enemies you turn on each other, because it’s a mind rooted in hatred

If you want a fair and just, justice system, I'm on board. You don't.

In Normal World, when you overstate the value of your holdings on official documents for the purpose of obtaining loans, that's known as "fraud". When you VASTLY overstate them, that's known as "another day in TrumpWorld™".

Defrauding people is "bad" It's "dishonest". People who commit fraud are "lying".

Here are just a few examples of how Trump commits fraud on financial documents to MAKE IT SEEM that he has a LOT more money than he does.

Trump Tower Triplex
Trump's claim: 30,000 sq ft
Actual appraisal: 10,996 sq ft

Seven Springs Estate Value
Trump's claim: $291 million
Actual appraisal: $30 million

40 Wall Street
Trump's claim: $527 million
Actual appraisal: $220 million

Mar-A-Lago
Trump's claim: $612 million
Actual value: $27.6 million

TNGC Briarcliff and TNGC LA
Trump's claim: $73 million
Actual value: $16 million

============

So I guess the question is, why are his followers so willing to overlook blatant fraud like this? Would any of you like to answer that question?

Let the deflection and personal attacks begin!

Who is the victim of this alleged fraud? If someone got cheated, shouldn't they be the ones suing Trump? I've never heard, until now of a "fraud" case where no one was cheated out of 5 cents, and no one complained.

Trump is an easy target for the banana republic. All his records are on file and the IRS has gone through his tax returns with a fine tooth comb. But what do we do about a career politician like Biden who never had a real job and never made more than around 200k per year but is worth billions? today? His tax returns ain't going to show much and the FBI is busy tracking down mom and pop Jan 6 demonstrators even in the unlikely event that they would take an interest in the Biden criminal regime.

The rubes have to defend this because it cuts to the heart of who their Orange God™ says he is.

He is a fraud. He's used Daddy's money, other people's money, and outright lies all his life because he is mentally ill and desperate for approval and validation.

This is worse than even his detractors imagined, and his cultists know it.

If they're going to defend him, they are weak and they are liars themselves.
Hey asshole, who was defrauded? And give REAL examples, not your bullshit claims. Not ONE bank or insurance company is claiming fraud moron. Thus, NO victim. Run away like usual now.

No defaulting is necessary for it to be a crime. Fraud is still fraud.

Did he get better rates based on the fraud?
Hey dumbfuck, there has to be a victim for any fraud to occur. Since NOBODY but crybaby James has claimed fraud, there is no victim, thus no case. You and Mac can cry all you want. It’s on the bank to do their due diligence.

Trump complained in 2020 that it was worth less than $30 million when he had to pay property taxes.

This is just another Trump farce that the rubes are swallowing whole. Same ol' shit.
Tax assessment value is never anywhere near actual value. Everyone knows that, but you have to be a dumb c*nt about it.

Irrelevant.

Frank, you just don't know anything about any of this.
Well, we've learned that blatantly lying on financial documents is just fine.

That has some massive implications, but it's okay, because there are no victims.

One guy is dragging us lower and lower, because he's being allowed to. Quite the role model.

It isn't just Trump supporters. People do not see financial crimes the same way as they do other crimes.

Under Obama the administration and Geithner both noted that crimes had been committed but they would not be pursued because it might be bad for the economy.

What Trump did wouldn't have been prosecuted if it had been someone else. Now that's not to say Trump isn't guilty, IMO from what we have seen he is. Trump was just doing business as usual. Yes it was fraud but no one really cared.

The rich and connected live under different rules than regular people. I imagine there are hundreds of people guilty of what Trump did. Will they be held accountable? Not likely.

Unfair? Maybe but again, when people came to Trump over an unfair justice system he turned his back to them. Even today his supporters refuse to understand this.
Well, Trump has once again taught us something about ourselves.

Not that it matters, but here is the actual description of this case:

The charge is "Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, a Class E Felony, 34 counts".

The "victim" of such a crime is the state. That would be New York.

Not that it matters.

Hey Einstein, here's a cut and paste of a post of mine from another thread. You're welcome:

=====

Just for the record, because this appears to be the big "point" being made by the Trumpsters:

The "victim" in this case is The State of New York. That's how it works. A state can bring a case on its own when its laws are broken.

In specific, the state has created and maintained laws governing financial reporting and is alleging that those laws have been broken. You do not need a poor little victim to prosecute the case. The state can enforce its laws. This is how it is done.

I'm sure talk radio and MAGA TV and the MAGA internet aren't mentioning this -- hell, they probably don't even KNOW it -- but it's true.

Misrepresenting his net worth. Have you been sleeping?
Y'know, what's really interesting here....

Trump puts all his damaged, fragile ego into being perceived as rich and successful, and he's terrified that people will find out that, outside of Daddy's money and other people's money, he's lived a fraudulent life. It's why he tried so hard to keep his finances secret.

I'll bet he thought that his flock would hate him if they found out. That they would reject him.

Turns out that's not the case. They're rushing to his defense, because HIS self worth is THEIR self worth. And this is another great example of why the comparisons to a cult are so reasonable.

If you are claiming half the voters in this country state that there is a lot more evidence of Biden crimes than there are trumps crimes, you're shamelessly lying. Can you make a point without making up a lie?

And utter ignorance does come into play.
The evidence is there and more is coming every week.

I also never believed the lie that Trump was colluding with Putin started by Hillary’s Steele Dossier.
