Minimum wages jobs are not meant to sustain an adult through adulthood. It is sad that some people seem stuck there, but really and I don't mean to sound callous, but who's fault is that? In an economy like this--thank you President Trump--there is no reason an adult who is able bodied, willing to work, with all faculties intact should be able to move quickly up from minimum wage work.

I know several businesses right here in my hometown who are desperate for workers. If you are anywhere near competent you could do much better than minimum wage.

Now, for those NOT able bodied and such, I'm not opposed to help. Let's make sure however and not the disability abuses we saw in the past.

Dems only seem obsessed with free medical care, the assumption obviously their voters do not pay a cent for rent but need help to pay for offspring since they have nothing better to do but fuck like ducks in the cesspools they created that used to be nice cities. IMO rent control legislation does not even address the issue. If a piece of property is vacant for more than 6 months, the government must step in demand the landlord either sell the property to the state or lower the rent to market. Basically, landlords have quietly created monopolies often with dirty money from subversive, ethnic groups way worse than large tech companies monopolies. That said paying over $2K a month for an apartment with a garage is still competitive compared to buying a typical, ugly, POS "American" house that will not go up in value in the foreseeable future, has close to $1K in monthly taxes and even more dramatic expense if needs oil heat for example. The point is democrats do NOTHING to reduce rents, they actually increase rents since they support savagery that makes safe areas way more expensive than Black and Brown areas.

Here's a little piece of economics that they teach in schools... called Supply and Demand. If there is no one around willing to take a job at a low wage, the wage increases.

This continues until a) the job becomes obsolete due to automation or it becomes obsolete because those who previously paid for the service no longer consider that job worth it.

At one time, a huge part of low end of the US labor force were employed domestics .

Automation and the adaptation of less pretentious lifestyles among the upper classes has significantly reduced that number.

Live-in, full time domestics have practically disappeared.

You want affordable housing and "living" wages while simultaneously supporting unlimited immigration, legal or otherwise, and you demand welfare for the 23 million illegals (and growing) that are here and everyone else that follows them here.
