I was astounded, I found my fathers paycheck stub from 1959. I don't remember the exact numbers, but he made like pennies on the dollar we made in 1999. He had five kids. He still managed to pay the bills and we still felt great and entitled. A mortgage and a car payment. My mother was our rock, but it didn't pay a thin dime. But still. And they managed just fine in 1960. And 1961. 62, 63 and up 1973 when my father died from cancer due in part to his work environment. I used to be able to buy certain medicine back in 2008 for 50 cents, but the price went up to...to $150 in a couple of months. Yep, because, they can milk this shit. Well enough is enough. This society is driven by money, not what's fair. This isn't a socialist talking. Its a 60 year old American fed up with price gouging disguised as capitalism.
