Far and away the dumbest move the US has made. There was absolutely no reason for the US to have ever been involved in Iraq.
At least with Vietnam, there was supposedly a treaty that we had to uphold that got us involved in that fiasco. However, our government should do what is best for the American people. If that means breaking a treaty, so be it. It not like the US has never broken a treaty before, doubt it... Just ask a native American.

I'd definitely put Vietnam over (maybe "under" would be a more appropriate word here) Iraq right now, based on pure loss of life. We won't know the full extent of the damage the Iraq caused for a while, since removing Saddam opened the door for Iran on multiple levels, and there's no way to know what's going to happen there.

Vietnam/Iraq were both defeats due to the MSM biased reporting!
Vietnam was a SEATO agreement that we had to keep.
MSM/Walter Cronkite primarily caused the defeat even though militarily the TET Offensive was a winner!
