I fail to see how this is a better system.
I fail to see how it is worse than the current system.

Why do you suppose Democrats or anyone sane and concerned for the state of the nation would want young, unwise, uninformed, ignorant people to vote?
The left constantly reminds everyone that certain groups are to stupid to get id'sonly if they have provided proof they are citizens, just like the rest of us have to do

It’s almost as if they need to recruit fools to vote, ignorant, desperate fools whom vote on social issues and not real meaningful politcs that matter….huh?

California DMV: Non-citizens may be registered to vote
At least one non-citizen and perhaps many more were registered to vote in California by the Department of Motor Vehicles.apnews.com
It's more convenient for the voter since they will not have to register to vote at all.If it is neither better nor worse, then there is no reason to move away from the current system.

Suppress the vote, yay!All you have to do is show your ID and they can tell you to leave.
Pennsylvania does not generally require voters to present identification while voting in most cases. However, a voter who is voting at a polling place for the first time must present identification.
Cool…does that mean you can’t or are afraid to address the premise of my post?It is sort of cute to see you talk about unwise, uninformed, ignorant people as if you do not qualify for all 3.
In at least 25 states they dont, it is automatic.

Are you the type to help or encourage your ignorant 18 year old who’s never inquired about REAL politics to vote?It is sort of cute to see you talk about unwise, uninformed, ignorant people as if you do not qualify for all 3.
Got it..so you can’t address the premise of my post…Gee, I wonder why.I did. You are living proof we allow unwise, uninformed, ignorant people to vote
It would be unconstitutional not to.

Hahaha…and just like that, with this thread, ole Gator becomes the Father Government loving statist he proclaims to detest. The government shouldn't be registering you to do anything without your express permission.
I have the right to not register vote as well.
Why should I have to carry ID to vote? Bathrobe and slippers.. perhaps underwear.. that should be enough.Who do you know that does not have an ID with their address on it?
