Is big brother watching you?

This isn't anything new. My brother spotted one over the Red River separating Texas from Oklahoma a couple of years ago. In fact, its been back since.

That area has always been a big drug producing region, mostly hidden fields of marijuana and meth-amphetimine labs, so it's presumed to be related to that. In any case, even before drones, the Oklahoma National Guard has been involved in drug interdiction missions along the Red River for a long time.

Can the second amendment be used to have surface-to-air missiles (arms like those the military has) in order to defend against this government action?

I just love how CNN decided to provide photographs of several drones armed with missiles to accompany the story.

Let's lead the reader into concluding what the pilot saw was Death From Above!

Assholes.

These are the type of people who, if they see a light in the sky they cannot explain, conclude it must be a spaceship carrying aliens from millions of light years away.

I could see justification for their use during a crime but not to just randomly spy. Much like I consider the red light cameras bogus.

what makes you think it was "Big Brother" ?

maybe it was the RNC looking for 2012 voter frauding illegal aliens.

just remember, the constitution was written over 200 years ago and needs to change with the times. none of your rights are sacred. or at least they won't be if we continue to allow our government to erode them one step at a time

How does an unmanned drone, Constitution-wise, differ from a manned helicopter?

Yes my rights are sacred.

What part of inalienable do you not understand?

inalienable: incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred

That which is inalienable cannot be bought, sold, or transferred from one individual to another. The personal rights to life and liberty guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States are inalienable. Similarly, various types of property are inalienable, such as rivers, streams, and highways.

It could have been a private company doing aerial photography. It could have been a government agency taking pictures of hurricane damage. It could have been some company doing aerial mapping or looking for natural resources or doing urban planning work. It could have been the Long Island Railroad watching their trains. It could have been an oil exploration company coming back from off shore.

There are endless possibilities which don't include "big brother" watching you.

But can't we still shoot it down? Huh? Huh? Maybe, perhaps, it's an 'infringement'. And what about our anti-aircraft missiles? Does the second entitle us to them or not, and why not?

By the way, what happened to the 'inalienable' 'rights' of American soldiers captured in WWII?

Anybody who thinks it's gonna stop with harmless, unarmed drones, is in denial. This is another incremental step by our "new government". Our Constitution is being made obsolete and the stupid ass liberals are making jokes about it.
