And in the political context, racist attacks on Vice President Harris are an attempt by Republicans to advance the lie that the vice president is somehow being ‘dishonest’ about her race and that Vice President Harris can’t claim to be black.

From the standpoint of biology, there is no such thing as ‘race’ – race a human cultural contrivance.

And the racist right is frightened by diversity and inclusion – their ignorance manifests as fear, and that fear becomes hate which in turn becomes racism, resulting in stupid, meritless attacks we see in the OP.
