This was not an OP or poll that should have been made. This election is not about competency for being president but about the survival of Democracy. As such, the poll should have have been about who is more likely to maintain our Democracy alive (Harris hands down). All the other issues (immigration, abortion, inflation, National debt, etc) are secondary because if we lose Democracy, everything will get worse and nothing will be solved to anyone's acceptance.

One thing that can be said is that the competency of Harris is not as important as it seems. Biden has not been all that competent but our nation has not only survived but prospered. The reason for that is that our nation (under the Democrats) is not run by one person but by many competent people that are part of the administration. They insure that the best decisions are made and when a wrong decision is made, they are capable of fixing it.

In Trump's case (and proven to be so in his first administration), the country is run by 1 person (an incompetent one at that) and it all depends on what the ONE person does. Mistakes will never be prevented or corrected given that Trump is a narcissist that never acknowledges (even to himself) any errors in judgement. He never listens to anyone else.

There is a whole lot more security and safety of the nation when a large group of people are working together to accomplish a goal than when one person alone is making the decisions. A person who cares mostly about himself and he is running the country based not on the people's best interests but on his own best interests.

Kamala is survival. Trump is death. Nothing else matters at this time.

Both candidates are flawed, with Trump having proved he is flawed while Harris likely to be flawed but should be given the benefit of the doubt.

End of story. That is the reality of the situation facing us right now.
WRONG.

Democracy is not the issue, the U.S. Constitution guarantees it dumbass.

The 2024 election is about electing a capable president who can get the US out of the mess Biden and Harris have put us in,
Or, to keep the US on the same stupid path that Biden and Harris have us on.
Thankfully most voters want to change from the "wrong track" to the "right track".

Democrats always blame Republicans for what they are doing.
Komrad Kamala would deliver the US on a silver platter to Xi and Putin after the 20m illegals are registered to vote and the US is a one-party (Communist) government.
Communists do what Communists do, and the Leftist MSM is complicit.
Pure BS on your part

You are entitled to your OPINION. Nonetheless, there are facts that you cannot ignore

1) Trump had an 85% turnover in his cabinet. No one was good enough (he chose wrongly) or believed in Trump enough to stay. Those that left, have stated that Trump is incompetent and should not be running the country

2) Trump never listens to anyone (not even his own lawyers regarding the law). He knows more than anyone.

3) Trump did 8 tangible things against the Constitution during his administration

4) Trump has clearly stated that he wants to "change" the Constitution.

There is nothing else to say. All of the above are FACTS and they prove what I stated. Yours is just opinion.

Lets look at the "real facts", also called "alternate facts".

1. 85% turnover? So what? That was then, this is now. If Elon Musk can reconfigure the Federal government to be streamlined, more efficient, and save a $trillion or so dollars, that would be a win-win-win.

2. If you listen to Mike Pompeo you need to handle Trump with flashy presentations, make killer points, and then let him approve/comment. You are right that Trump is not a big reader of boring facts and figures, or boring presentations.

3. The 9 tangible things you list against the Constitution are total bullshit:
acting: its his admin, its not unconstitutional
tariffs: Biden kept most of them, again, not unconstitutional
border wall: God bless Trump for keeping us safe, one of his better policies, not unconstitutional
ban bump stocks: you want to oppose this? Really?
bomb Syria: Getting rid of ISIS was an imperative
blocking Twitter users: the MSM, and FBI misuse the online programs all day long
Covid EOs: Trump got the Covid vaccine shots in arms in 10-months when the "experts" like Fau-Chi said 4-years "if then", you're welcome.

4. Wanting to change the Constitution is perfectly legal. He doesn't like the 25th, meh. Its still there.

Utter bullshit.

You guys really seem to have to work hard to justify voting for Hindenburg Harris.

Why ?

Just admit you like the idea of a DEI hire in the WH cause it tickles your social justice funny boner.

Be honest. You'd rather have a moron in the WH so the rest of the world will see you as something special in their eyes.

One problem, Trump does not learn from his mistakes, meaning he will continue to do it

His actions have always been in doing what he wants. The Constitution be damned
