What the heck are you talking about.

There were no Tax increases. In FACT there was a tax cut.

Bush's cuts were set to sunset some time ago. They were extended. And even with that they were made permanent for people making less then 500K..not a million as originally proposed. The loopholes that the President is asking to close were in part meant to be temporary too. Like the oil company tax break for "searching for new sources of oil". That's a holdover from the Clinton era.
