Can't a communist be a good Christian too?
Got your communists right here, pal.
These people live on a commune (they call it a 'colony') of between 75 and 150 population, at which point they split off to a daughter colony. They live on completely commonly-owned land each in a commonly-owned house, taking their meals in a common room, all working for the colony collectively. They eat, sleep and breathe Jesus. No one has any personal possessions save the clothes on their back. And I'm not relating this abstractly, I know these people personally. They're communists, and they're Christians, and they're serious about both. And they've been doing this for five hundred years. So go get yourself some smattering of an education before you go back on the internets and embarrass yourself with desperation revisionist histories. K?![]()
So what's your point? Is the Pope a Communist or Good Christian? The Catholic Church is one of the wealthiest entities on the planet? Why isn't it sharing that vast wealth?
Name themagain, there are no 'founders' of communism. it is perhaps the oldest form of economy.communism has been around as long as civilization - probably before. there's nothing anti-religion about it.
it has been used by people that are anti-religion though.
Well, the founders of Communism/Socialism had some pretty dim views of religion. You can research them and see how they felt about it.
No, there are actual founders of what we know today as Communism/Socialism.
Not up for giving a history lesson today. But the information's out there. The founders of what we know today as Communism/Socialism are well known.

And now you're mixing apples and oranges conflating an institution with a religion.
You're all over the fuggin' map here dood. Go down to the clue store. Maybe they'll let you in this time.
Hey let's face it, the Catholic Church could melt all that gold down and give its vast wealth to the poor masses. Yet it hasn't.

Apparently not to you. Humans have been doing things collectively to various degrees ever since we formed tribes. What the fuck do you think the word community means?
then name them. i'm not asking for a history lesson, just that you name them. would have taken less keystrokes than your last post, i bet.Name themagain, there are no 'founders' of communism. it is perhaps the oldest form of economy.communism has been around as long as civilization - probably before. there's nothing anti-religion about it.

I worked in a non-profit field for the homeless and addicted. The Catholic's give generously, more so than most.
The pope just said today that if you are a church that does not give, you should not get a pass on paying taxes..

Still, the Catholic Church could melt all that gold down and give all of its wealth to the poor masses. Most people have no idea just how wealthy the Catholic Church really is. One of the wealthiest entities on the planet.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily, with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favor with all people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:44-47)
And the multitude of them that were believed were of one heart and of one soul; neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus; and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked; for as many as were possessors of land or houses sold them, and brought the piece of the things that were sold, And laid them at the apostles feet; and distribution was made unto every man according as he had needed. (Acts 4:32-35)
Can't believe I actually have to quote the Babble for the Illiterati.
because you know that no matter who you name communism predates them by a long shot - meaning they cannot be the founders.then name them. i'm not asking for a history lesson, just that you name them. would have taken less keystrokes than your last post, i bet.Name themagain, there are no 'founders' of communism. it is perhaps the oldest form of economy.

Aaaaand STILL can't tell the difference between an institution and a religion.
Can you play a baseball game without MLB Inc. involved or not?
Dumbasssssss....

The left loves to label people. Maybe that's easier than thinking about issues. If you are going to play the label game you have to define them.
