It’s an Obama world.
CENTER]

A 2011 study found that Obama’s green mandate will add $10,000 to the price of new cars, and eliminate 260,000 jobs.

Now this…
A majority of middle class Americans can no longer afford a new car.
CNBC reported
Looking to buy a new car, truck or crossover? You may find it more difficult to stretch the household budget than you expected, according to a new study that finds median-income families in only one major U.S. city actually can afford the typical new vehicle.

The typical new vehicle is now more expensive than ever, averaging $30,500 in 2012, according to TrueCar.com data, and heading up again as makers curb the incentives that helped make their products more affordable during the recession when they were desperate for sales.

Ya don't say? Hmmmmmm. New cars are flying off the lots and they're selling more each year. I guess they're all being bought by the "elites," like my daughter, my son and myself, each of whom have bought one within the past 4 months....right?

NEW car sales are up by 16% in 2012. I just paid cash for a car three months ago. So try again OP. Some of us Americans saved our money under Bush and his wars. Now I can afford a lot more that I could have back in 2006.

It's been like that for years and years you dumbfuck.

People have been leasing cars the whole time.

Whats next?

Liberals are getting mortgages because Obama has destroyed the economy?

Cars ARE more expensive in comparison to people's wages, that is true.

They are also much better vehicles that last longer, run better, more efficiently and are much MUCH safer, too.

Obama has nothing to do with that.

Neither does he have ironclad control over the economy.

This is obvious to anyone who understands how the world really works.
