When I was young, all Americans felt so sorry for weak China, bullied by European powers in the 19th century and brutalized by Japan in the 20th.

Wow!

What a sea change in the 21st.

Now China is the bully, and many people (including me) are cheering for Japan to kick China's posterior if necessary.
