“This nation was founded on the principle that there are no kings in America. Each of us is equal before the law. No one, no one is above the law, not even the president of the United States,” Biden said. “But today’s Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, that fundamentally changed. For all practical purposes, today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what the president can do. This is a fundamentally new principle and it’s a dangerous precedent.”

“This decision today has continued the court’s attack in recent years on a wide range of long established legal principles in our nation,” Biden said in attacking the legitimacy of the nation’s highest Court. “From gutting voting rights and civil rights to away a woman’s right to choose to today’s decision that undermines the rule of law of this nation.”

Biden’s claim is false, the Supreme Court ruling made clear that there are limits of what a president can do legally, specifically immunity only applies for official actions that fall within the “outer perimeter” of the President’s official responsibilities so long as they are “not manifestly or palpably beyond his authority.”

Remember.. this comes from a President who said that Trump was a dictator for his number of executive orders, and then on his first days pumped through more executive orders than any president in history. This is straight from Saul Alinsky... if you do evil, accuse your opponent of it by mere dictation, knowing it's false but applying it as a strategy against the political enemy.

And Biden stood by as the NY Prosecutor Alvin Bragg (Who ran his campaign on putting Trump in jail before any crime was concieved) while having a Biden DOJ operative who was placed in Bragg's office to coordinate the prosecution, ignored all precedent.... Which allowed a 3rd world political kangaroo court to throw charges against a president's political rival to try to imprison them so they cannot participate in the impending election...

Biden is a tyrannical dictator.

Biden’s claim is false, the Supreme Court ruling made clear that there are limits of what a president can do legally, specifically immunity only applies for official actions that fall within the “outer perimeter” of the President’s official responsibilities so long as they are “not manifestly or palpably beyond his authority.”
What falls manifestly or palpably beyond his authority, when at the same time his motive can't be questioned and needs to be presumed to be in good faith? It seems to me that that leaves very few actions he takes as a president outside that scope.

He can't shoot somebody personally sure. What he can do is order the military to do it. After all, as president he determines what constitutes a national threat and he can order the military to eliminate threats? How do you stop that?

Maybe make it a bit more relevant. According to the US Supreme Court. A president can order the DOJ to issue a false claim of voter fraud. Stating they've found it when they in fact found no evidence of it. Fire every official until he finds one willing to put out the statement. And not only is it perfectly legal but any evidence that it was indeed a lie can be deemed irrelevant in terms of prosecution.

That's literally their position.

As for impeachment and treason as somehow a check on his power. Treason is specifically mentioned in the Constitution. It's not a catch-all for every corrupt act a President can make, and impeachment is wholly dependant on the willingness of a significant amount of members of the President's own party to convict, thereby going against their own political interest. And even if that somehow succeeds the acts themselves can almost never be charged if they can conceivably be considered within his presidential duties.

If you read the opinion it's striking how broad and how many things they are willing to contemplate as "official duties" in this case, and how few as personal. The burden this opinion puts on a prosecutor to prove criminal behavior and the constrictions they impose on what's admissible make a president de facto above the law.

Nov 5 can't come soon enough.

I caught part of Biden's hate-filled attack on the co-equal branch of government (SC) spinning it into a political ad calling for people to just not vote for the political opponent he tried to destroy and failed. I was amazed that literally EVERY word out of his mouth was a blatant LIE. Then he walked away refusing to answer a single question.

Truth is the SC decision changes little, a president always could do most anything (just as Biden IGNORED the Supreme Court decision and went ahead with his school loan buyouts looking to gain votes anyway), they merely affirmed that the president must by design be isolated from certain liabilities as a necessity of the job so that he is free to make official decisions in the best interest of the nation without fear of influence, coercion, or reprisal.

The protection from abuse of this power comes from electing a president with good integrity, like a man who:
  1. Gives up an opulent life at his own expense to serve his country.
  2. Does not take any pay for it instead donating his salary to charity.
  3. Sacrifices vast amounts of personal wealth rather than see a corrupt government prevail.
  4. Fights for integrity and honesty in our elections.
  5. Puts the needs of Americans first, ahead of his own or other countries.
Instead, we have Pedo Joe who:
  1. On Day One, opened our border inviting an invasion of 10 million illegal invaders then bused them secretly in the night to every city throwing veterans out on the street so he could give them free room and board.
  2. Had the nerve to pull the most half-assed backwards military pullout in the history of the world killing over a dozen soldiers leaving thousands of Americans behind with billions of dollars in top military gear left behind for terrorists to steal instead.
  3. Dragged us into two wars spending 200 billion on a pointless war that doesn't concern us that could have been used for the American people instead.
  4. Oversaw twice as many Covid deaths on his watch than Trump after telling people Trump didn't deserve to be in office for his when Trump didn't even have a vaccine.
  5. Runs a WH with bags of cocaine laying around, naked transsexuals running around the WH lawn, a gun felon son who swings private deals with foreign countries while banging his brother's wife, and an administration full of subversives and deviant sex freaks.
  6. Stole boxes full of top secret documents as a senator and VP (treason), then left the boxes laying around loose in his garage and in an office owned by the chinese, but got off scott free because they admitted Biden was too feeble and senile to know right from wrong, kinda like Hillary.
  7. Uses the power of the federal government to suppress news of his incompetence (freedom of the press) while trying to destroy his political opponents to keep his own power intact.
  8. Gets all of his marching orders, instructions and directives apparently from his former boss, Barry, living down the street.
  9. Has transformed our military into simpering idiots who put DEI ahead of readiness as an effective combat force.
  10. Lives in virtual isolation like a king always on vacation or hiding never making personal appearances or taking any questions from the public, except those arranged in advance from just select people with prearranged questions and answers.

Presidents can be impeached and removed from Office
impeachment is wholly dependant on the willingness of a significant amount of members of the President's own party to convict, thereby going against their own political interest. And even if that somehow succeeds the acts themselves can almost never be charged if they can conceivably be considered within his presidential duties.

/——/ The only issue I have with your post is, Biden never said any of that. Biden can’t complete a coherent sentence.
His handlers wrote that and put Dementia Joe’s name on it.
BTW, that decision protects Biden, Obama, and Clinton too.

What a power grab by the USSC, in broad daylight.
Joe was on his dual teleprompters again. Of course, he answered no questions from the press, and he did the "Biden Shuffle" walking away.
