McCain's voice is quite clear and cogent. Trumpo's action may even be legal, but the management has been very confused and ineffective. Step it up, Trumpo. We need to fight ISIS smartly not emotionally.

-----------------

Our government has a responsibility to defend our borders, but we must do so in a way that makes us safer and upholds all that is decent and exceptional about our nation.

It is clear from the confusion at our airports across the nation that President Trump’s executive order was not properly vetted. We are particularly concerned by reports that this order went into effect with little to no consultation with the Departments of State, Defense, Justice, and Homeland Security.

Such a hasty process risks harmful results. We should not stop green-card holders from returning to the country they call home. We should not stop those who have served as interpreters for our military and diplomats from seeking refuge in the country they risked their lives to help. And we should not turn our backs on those refugees who have been shown through extensive vetting to pose no demonstrable threat to our nation, and who have suffered unspeakable horrors, most of them women and children.

Ultimately, we fear this executive order will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism. At this very moment, American troops are fighting side-by-side with our Iraqi partners to defeat ISIL. But this executive order bans Iraqi pilots from coming to military bases in Arizona to fight our common enemies. Our most important allies in the fight against ISIL are the vast majority of Muslims who reject its apocalyptic ideology of hatred. This executive order sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country. That is why we fear this executive order may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security. (go to John McCain's facebook page for the above)

But it was cool when Obama did it.

In the furor against President Donald Trump’s ban on immigration, some are bringing up history.

Did President Barack Obama also ban refugees from Iraq?

Obama’s administration did stop processing all applications for Iraqi refugees for a six-month time period. (Jimmy Carter and Chester Arthur were also among presidents to restrict immigration by nation state).

A 2013 ABC News article reported, “The State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets.”

Did President Obama ‘Ban’ Iraqi Refugees?

McCain is the guy who created the monstrosity of a "campaign finance reform bill" (along with another liberal senator) that established the Soros tax exempt Media Matters propaganda source that only monitors conservative speech. You almost gotta laugh that McCain was more concerned about mentioning Obama's middle name than he was about Media Matters hiring sleazy detectives to malign his own VP's family and reputation. While Arizona is struggling with the cost of illegal immigration and drug addiction from Mexican drug cartels, elitists like McCain who should be representing their own state interests, worry more about how bad freaking Muslems feel about the "temporary" ban on immigration. McCain might as well join the democrat party than continue his facade as a republican.

McCain. The ultimate RINO. He needs to go. And did you watch Schumer just wellin up over Trump doing what we elected him to do? Look to the countries who were schumerized before us, and tell me what makes you so anxious to turn us into them.

And not a woman or child in sight. Do you get it yet? This is the work of the UN. They are also the ones demanding that this become OUR "new normal".
This is what you paid Soros phonies are demanding we import. Not women, not children. This. It an't gonna happen. We voted for America this time.

The reaction across the Nation clearly demonstrate your opinion is minority in this case.

I believe that the ban as enacted under Carter was constitutional, so I think the problem here is one of planning and execution.

It has gone very badly. Now there are dozens of immediate releases ordered by Judges.

How quaint, the Republican on the Mexican border who refused supporting the building of a wall wants us to listen about national security.

Do tell John.

everyday Americans support this President Trump and what he is doing !!

Sure, a minority of Americans, Sur 'ismoe!!!

The ban has been poorly planned and implemented.

Since Trump's legitimacy is questioned by a majority of Americans, Donald and his advisers better start thinking smarter and more clearly.
