Judging.. Judges, the Trump effect..

So according to many Democrats and Republicans, the media talking heads and whomever is interested, it seems questioning a judges race motivations, integrity, political affiliations, judgements, etc. is unacceptable because judges are far superior to the common man and a protected class..

Me .. I call bullshit, they're just as loony as the rest of us.
Point is, do minorities or women want trump appointing the next supreme Court justices? The answer is fuck no. Now I understand wanting him over kasich Cruz jeb rubio Christie huckabee Paul carson or fiorino but he honestly shouldn't be president

Nope the point is, Judges deserve just as much scrutiny as anyone else in power, they are human, make mistakes and can be corrupted in their judgements.

and .. of course left wing activist don't want Trump appointing judges .. currently they're active in promoting their traditional Democratic Socialist Party race card and lyin Hillary women's card.

NOOO, the point is you don't make a point by going "waaah, the judge has Mexican ancestry" just because he says yes, the fraud suit against you can proceed as the legal process prescribes. Period.

That's exactly why I noted at the beginning that you haven't made a point here. Not that that's anything new.

Slow thread day....

It should be obvious to you by now that generally your judgements mean crap to me and most everyone else gifted with critical thought. Why waste our time with your needless drivel, Freakshow Pogo.

Yeah yeah yeah, called this already. There's actually an emoticon for it -- it goes :lalala:

Spare me. You have nothing to say. :eusa_hand:

Do you really think every defendant is entitled to a judge with whom he agrees politically?

Seriously?

Apparently he thinks that if a judge doesn't give you what you like you're entitled to whine and stomp your feet and question the judge's integrity based on his ethnicity. It's the soup of self-delusion he swims in.

Yes indeed the official title is, "Democratic Socialist Party Freeloaders and Lemmings"....
Nope, try again..

I don't wanna, I'm happy with my response...:woohoo:

Of course you are. All you do is post stupid inane shit and then when called on it pretend it was all a "joke".

It's tired, Lumpster.

You'd make a perfect liberal judge and have your diaper changed, you're cranky...:itsok:

See what I mean? Run away as usual, wimpy.

Hey

I'm black
If I join the New Black Panther party, does that mean I can get any white judge to recuse themselves? Sounding pretty good.

The Daily Caller News Foundation has compiled a list of seven times liberals invoked a judge’s race.

  1. Justice Sonia Sotomayor famously invoked her identity as a “wise Latina” who could outdo a white man. “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” she said in an October, 2001 speech that became a point of criticism for Republicans.
  2. When Donald Trump released his list of potential Supreme Court nominees, the left was quick to point out they were all white. Think Progress published an article titled “Your Ultimate Guide To The 11 White People Donald Trump Will Consider For The Supreme Court,” which pointed out that “Only three are women. All are white.”
  3. George Takei, Star Trek actor and gay rights activist, called Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a “clown in black face” after his vote against the recognition of same-sex marriage. “I mean, doesn’t he know that slaves were in chains?” Takei said. “That they were whipped on the back. If he saw the movie 12 Years a Slave, you know, they were raped.”
  4. Liberal Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson blasted Thomas for his stance against affirmative action. “I believe in affirmative action, but I have to acknowledge there are arguments against it,” Robinson wrote. “One of the more cogent is the presence of Justice Clarence Thomas on the U.S. Supreme Court.”
  5. Anna Quindlen, a liberal writer for Newsweek, clearly invoked Thomas’ race in her criticism of him, saying “His judicial resume was mediocre; he was chosen because he was conservative and black, an affirmative-action hire by an administration that eschewed affirmative action.”
  6. Liberal writers and activists Jeff Cohen and Norman Solomon wrote an article in the Seattle Times saying Thomas was unseemly as a “beneficiary of affirmative-action programs who climbs the ladder of success by attacking affirmative action.”
  7. To defend itself from criticism over nominating a white Supreme Court Justice, the White House was quick to invoke race. In a post titled, “White House Defends Diversity Record In Judicial Appointments,” the New York Times points out that Josh Earnest was eager to tell reporters that Obama had appointed a Hispanic justice to the Supreme Court and therefore, had previously embraced diversity. The defense came after attacks from the left over nominee Merrick Garland, who is white.

I totally agree but the argument against recalling judges is that the judicial branch isn't democratic. They say A judge doesn't issue a ruling on 'popular opinion' but consider the fact that the constitution that they use to declare laws unconstitutional as well as the laws they use to put people in jail were all created by popular opinion in the first place. They to also respond to the popular opinion of their constituents. I think judges would carefully evaluate their own decision making process more if they knew their decisions could cost them their jobs.
