Kids Taught to Praise Obama

Let's teach a classroom of kids a song praising Bush and likening him to Jesus. That would be okay. Wouldn't it?

FIGHTING FEAR WITH FRIENDSHIP
(A request made by Pres. George W. Bush to America's children)
Words- Sam Francis Music- Merrill Jenson
Children of America
There's a way to conquer fear.
It's time that we all get along
So hate will disappear.
There's one thing that we can do
And we should start today.
We'll fight fear with friendship
There is no better way.

CHORUS
Fighting fear with friendship
It is our Nation's call
Our President has asked the ‘kids'
To be a friend to all!
Fighting fear with friendship
There's letters we can send.
Tell the ‘kids' throughout the world
We want to be their friend!

Children of America
We love our liberty.
We wish that kids throughout the world
Also could be free.
If only they could feel our hearts
They would know how much we care.
We all want peace on earth for children everywhere!

CHORUS

(Bridge)
Regardless of our color or nationality,
We should respect our differences
And friends we all should be.

CHORUS

(Tag) Let's tell the kids throughout the world
We want to be your friend.

down the line.

This is for the one who swings the hammer, drivin' home the nail,
For the one behind the counter, ringin' up the sales.
For the one who fights the fires, the one who brings the mail,
For everyone who works behind the scenes.
You can see them every morning in the factories and the fields,
In the city streets and the quiet country towns.
Workin' together like spokes inside a wheel,
They keep this country turnin' around.

Hello Kansas, wheat field farmer, let us thank you for your time
You work a 40 hour week for a livin', just to send it on down the line.
Hello West Virginia, coal miner, let us thank you for your time.
You work a 40 hour week for a livin', just to send it on down the line.

This is for the one who drives the big rig, up and down the road.
Or the one out in the warehouse, bringin' in the load.
Or the waitress, the mechanic, the policeman on patrol
For everyone who works behind the scenes,
With a spirit you can't replace with no machine.

Hello America! Let us thank you for your time.
again, SO?

gee, could you highlight those words where it was praising Bush?

OBAMA SONG

Sung in one class room seven months ago during black history week and wing-nut village idiots call it “brain washing’’ their kids. Seven months ago? The kids probable don’t even remember anything about that week. How many kids know the words to “Oh, Say Can You See” and the Pledge of Allegiance. A song for the honoring the first black president? Damned if you are patriotic and damned is you are not patriotic.
Much ado about nothing.
Obama have got to be wing-nut village idiots WORSE NIGHTMARE. :cuckoo:
:clap2:

You obviously do not have kids. My daughter learned the 'witch's brew' song in kindergarten. When I asked her last year, when she was 27, with a few words and melody she was able to recall it word for word. Those are the formative years.

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS
Words- Sam Francis
Music- Gaye Gibbs
Christopher Columbus, with three ships and crew,
Discovered America in fourteen ninety two.
Ferdinand and Isabella, the rulers of Spain
Financed the journey...with hope of wealth and fame.

CHORUS
Christopher Columbus, admiral of the sea.
Sailed west to the Indies...made a great discovery.
A new continent which came to be
This land of America, land of America,
Home for you and me!

With compass to guide them, they sailed Westerly.
Courageous men ventured into unknown seas.
Thirty-three days they traveled...imagine their joy
A watchful sailor shouted, ‘there's land ahoy!'

YOU BETTER BE WEARIN' GREEN
Words and Music - Sam Francis
‘Everything is Irish' on St. Patrick's Day.
We eat corned beef and cabbage
For that's the Irish way.
We decorate with shamrocks...
Balloons and banners too...
But, there's still one thing the Irish say
That everyone should do.

CHORUS
Oh....you better wear some green
You better be wearin' green.
That's one thing that everyone should do.
You know a Leprechaun or two.
They might be pinchin' you!
So...you better be a wearin' green!

‘Everything is Irish' on St. Patrick's Day
If you kiss the Blarney Stone
They say you'll get your way.
You could catch a Leprechaun
Bad-tempered though they seem
But, you still won't find their ‘pot of gold'
Unless you're wearin' green.

CHORUS

(Bridge)
‘Top of the morning' to you.
Keep ‘those Irish eyes a Smiling' too.
Shenanigans they play
On St. Patrick's Day
So you had better wear some green.

CHORUS
(Tag) You better be a warin' green!

THE FATHER OF OUR COUNTRY... GEORGE WASHINGTON
Words by - Sam & Gary Francis; Music - Gary Francis
Our war for independence
Was fought and finally won.
The leader who was in command
Was General Washington.
George was strong and noble
A man of dignity
He kept his soldiers going
As they fought for liberty.

CHORUS
General George Washington
Kept the British on the run
‘Till the war was finally won
Our Nation had begun.
George became our President
He was number one.
The Father of our Country...A brave American!.

At Valley Forge they suffered
For it was very cold.
His troops were sick and hungry
Their bread covered with mold..
How could they keep on fighting'
The condition they were in.
Got strength from their commander
Together they would win!

CHORUS

Bridge-
A man of faith and courage
With great integrity.
He led his troops to battle
And on to victory!

CHORUS

(Tag)-
The father of our country...
General George Washington!

ABE LINCOLN
Words - Sam & Gary Francis
Music - Gary Francis
Born in a small log cabin, yet he grew up to be
Our country's sixteenth president, who served with dignity.
Had just one year of schooling, read books of every kind.
He studied by the fire light, developing his mind.

CHORUS
Abe Lincoln, Abe Lincoln, is known in history
As the President who worked real hard to end the slavery.
Abe Lincoln, Abe Lincoln, brought peace and unity.
He showed us by example the way we ought to be!

(Bridge)
A nation divided until the war was done.
Abe, put us back together all as one!

He had strong moral values, applied what he believed.
Gave credit to his mother for the things that he achieved.
Took good care of his body, was strong and very tall.
Abe, stayed away from harmful things like drugs and alcohol.

CHORUS

(Tag)
He showed us by example the way we ought to be!

I HAVE A DREAM...MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
Words and Music - Sam Francis, Gary Francis
"I have a dream"
That one day we will see
A world that's filled with hope
Peace and harmony.
A place where all are free
And have equality.
That is the way it ought to be!

CHORUS
Let freedom ring
Let freedom ring
From the hilltops and the mountains
Let freedom ring!
Martin Luther King
Said, ‘Let Freedom Ring'
Free at last, we're free at last.
Let's all join hands and sing.

"I have a dream"
That one day there will be
Fair laws and civil rights
For all humanity.
And justice is for all,
Men walk with dignity.
That is the way it ought to be!

CHORUS

(Bridge)
It doesn't really matter
The color of our skin
Inside we're all Americans
Together we will win!

‘I have a dream'
That one day we'll be free
From hate and racial strife
And no more poverty.
A brotherhood of man
Where all of us are free.
That is the way it ought to be

CHORUS

Tag-
Free at last, we're free at last.
Let's all join hands and sing.
I Have a Dream!

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
Words and Music- Sam Francis
The Declaration of Independence
Says ‘we hold these truth to be....'
‘All men are created equal'
To live in harmony.
‘They are endowed by their Creator
With certain unalienable rights...
That among these are life, liberty,
And the pursuit of happiness.'

CHORUS
The Declaration of Independence
‘In the name, and by authority...
Declare, that these United Colonies
Are ‘free and Independent States'
A land of Liberty!

It was written by Thomas Jefferson
Signed on the 4th of July.
It declared our Independence
And told the reasons why.
In support of this declaration
Valiant men, strong and true.
They bravely ‘ pledged their lives, their fortunes.
And their sacred honor too.'

CHORUS

(tag)
It declared our Independence
And fought to keep men free!

Hello America! Let us thank you for your time.

And where in any of these songs you've so helpfully posted, do they praise George Bush? Where in any of these songs you've so helpfully posted, do they liken George Bush to Jesus?

Believe you me, if they did, I would be the first in line to cry "FOUL!"

Have any of you heard the lyrics of the song? I didn't think so because it is not praising Obama.

Heard them? Hell yes. I listen more than once to the songs. Not only that, I've read the lyrics and in my opinion, they do indeed praise Obama. Certainly enough to raise the eyebrows and voices of the left if Obama's name were to be replaced with Bush's.

I posted them once, I can post them again. Here, take a Geritol and read them. Then read them again. Then read them again and substitute "George Walker Bush" every time it says "Barack Hussein Obama." I don't care who the President is, this was out of line.

Song 1:

Mm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that all must lend a hand
To make this country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said we must be fair today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

Yes!
Mmm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

Song 2:

Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments, we all doth say "hooray!"

Hooray, Mr. President! You're number one!
The first black American to lead this great nation!

Hooray, Mr. President we honor your great plans
To make this country's economy number one again!

Hooray Mr. President, we're really proud of you!
And we stand for all Americans under the great Red, White, and Blue!

So continue ---- Mr. President we know you'll do the trick
So here's a hearty hip-hooray ----

Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!

Not nearly as complex a song as the Obama song, though I will not argue this with you. Bottom line, you are either disingenuous, clueless, or a liar.

Kids are taught of the evils of Columbus, and the plight of the Indians at the hands of the terrible White Man, and the evils of slavery at the hands of the terrible White Man, etc.

The great history behind the ongoing experiment called America is being lost to those whose purpose should be to carry it forward...

This is bull crap. We did fuck over the Indians, we did enslave blacks. But then to say the shit about the great experiment is being lost is total baloney. I don't know where you live, but the kids here still love this country.

We can admit we made mistakes based on the attitudes and values that existed then. As long as we aren't doing that shit today.......

My country right or wrong:eusa_whistle:

Glad you posted this. It's obvious you are not as clueless as this post intimates. Indeed, it's quite clear you recognize the cluelessness of the original colonists, as well as the deliberateness of the later folks. The majority of Natives done in by 'European diseases' were unintententional. The intentional were small in number and late in the game.

I saw somebody remark last night that Obama getting elected has brought out the far left lib wackos into the open - and some of those wackos are charged with teaching public school children...

Okay, kids, let's have a big Kumbaya love fest in school today and sing Christmas songs...certainly no one would complain about all those old standard tunes based on a religious event.

yeah, have them do "Jesus loves the little children"
that shouldnt cause any problems

The difference between Obama and the other presidential songs, well the one I care about, it started before he got elected, it started even before he was chosen for the ticket.
