Knee-jerk Reactions On Killing Of Black Teens: It's about race. It's not about race.

White fools like Ravi ad others always see light skinned latinos(white) and whites as shooting black teens based on racial profiling which they claim is racist. They demand the heads of those involved. It's always about stereotypes and hate.

White tools like the racists who post here always claim white society and police are besieged on all sides by blacks who hate white people and somehow that justifies killing blacks.

The teen was with a group Saturday night, but left when he saw police in an unmarked car, police said. Authorities said he was acting suspicious and plain clothes officers approached him. According to police, Gray pointed a .38-caliber revolver at them, and they opened fire. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Gray was black. The officers involved in the shooting were black and Hispanic. They have been placed on administrative duty.

"I want to see justice," said Jamal Williams, 18, a friend who grew up with Gray in the same East Flatbush neighborhood. "I want to see these cops taken down."

Rickford Burke, president of the Caribbean Guyana Institute for Democracy and an organizer of Wednesday's vigil, condemned the looting. He said the disorderly response came from a deep feeling of frustration in the community that police officers regularly harass and target young black men.

I think it sucks that police in our society just can't use billy clubs and mace and non lethal devices to stop people, but when so many are armed and have no respect at all for society and authority what can we expect. (CNN) -- A band of furious teenagers hurled bottles, bricks and trash cans at New York police Wednesday night, days after police shot and killed an armed Brooklyn youth.

Many in the community of Flatbush say the shooting of 16-year-old Kimani "Kiki" Gray was racially motivated police brutality. The neighborhood is a place where many people mistrust the police and gun violence is part of everyday life.

About 11:30 p.m. Saturday, plainclothes officers were on patrol in their car in Flatbush when they saw a group of men gathered on the street, according to police.

As the officers got closer, Gray broke away from the group and adjusted his waistband, officers said. The teen "continued to act in a suspicious manner," so the officers got out of their unmarked car and tried to get his attention.

Gray then "turned on them," a police statement says, and pointed a .38 caliber revolver at the officers.

One officer fired four rounds; another fired seven. Both are now on administrative duty, police said.

The New York City Medical Examiner's Office said the teen was struck seven times.

Gray died at a hospital, and a loaded .38 was recovered at the scene.

The officers were taken to a hospital and treated for what the department described as trauma and tinnitus, a ringing in the ears.

Residents have speculated that Gray's wounds suggest that he was facing away from officers and therefore not a threat.

By Monday, Flatbush was enraged, with a mob of young people reportedly interrupting a vigil by running wildly into local businesses. Police said they arrested two people that day.

So these dumb asses live amongst violence 24/7. People getting shot and killed or wounded or beaten and robbed or God knows what else all around them, victims of other blacks by the way, and they're response is to mistrust the police? And in this instance two minority cops to boot. So, yeah, continue to protect the murderers, robbers, thugs, rapists, etc. who live and torment amongst you because the cops are a threat to you.
