LaVoy Finicum, armed with a handgun, reached for his waistband just before he was shot

This isn't the movies. People don't typically reach for where they've been shot. Even modern movies don't do that anymore because blood in films is no longer taboo thanks to The Wild Bunch.

from the video where he is reaching is not where the mouth of his inside pocket is or would be expected to be

He was reaching for or at his left pocket which is where his loaded 9mm was. Cops don't wait to make sure armed men fleeing custody are just reaching for their Iphones.

And how exactly cops knew there is a gun in his left pocket?

He was in Oregon in order to commit a crime of domestic terrorism.
Domestic terrorism! Lol........against whom and how? The man swerved to avoid hitting the barracade and a dumbass trooper who jumped in front of the truck. He immediately applied his brakes and got out instead of putting the peddle to the metal and attempting to go around the road block continuing on to see the sheriff that was waiting on him. He'll at the first road block Finicum can be heard right before he takes off telling one of the troopers to follow them to meet the sheriff with them. They fired a round at the truck instead as they left. The bottom line is the feds didn't want Finicum reaching the sheriff who agreed to meet him. Why couldn't the feds and troopers wait and arrest him in town?
In what jurisdiction do you venture to where folks being arrested get to tell law enforcement they will have to wait to apprehend them but that they're welcome to follow, should they want.

That bullshit doesn't fly anymore now that they've released another video with audio. He clearly reached down twice before any shots are heard.

that is not true

there are many shots while his hands are up starting as he is getting out of the truck
It's absolutely true. Of course, I'm not surprised the person who thinks a helicopter is a plane would try to deny it; but it's undeniable. He's seen dropping his hand twice and then several shots are heard.

And get this ... your denial is never going to alter reality. It's on the video.

you can not hear the shots as he is exiting the truck with his hands up

this is what the Justice Department is investigating
He wasn't shot at that point. At that point, he was getting out of his vehicle and then trotting through the snow with his hands up. After he dropped his hand, several shots are clearly heard and Finicum goes down.

The bullshit that he lowered his hand because he was shot is proven to be bullshit by this latest video released.
Yep. Had he kept his hands up and knelt down or laid down, he'd still be alive.

If these assholes had been black, they would have been mowed down on the first day and the fools here would have applauded that.

You....you know there's a video that anyone can watch, right? Finnicum trying to run a police blockade starts at around 9 minutes.

Finnicum misses hitting an SUV and a LEO by *inches*. This after leading the cops on a high speed chase and refusing to surrender to a lawful warrant.....and rushing toward a police blockade at speeds of upto 70 mph.

The 'militia' wanna bes were fucked the moment the FBI announced it had a video. As we can actually see for ourselves that you guys are completely full of shit.

With just 3 SUVs and a handful of cops at the blockade, Lavoy barely misses hitting one of the LEO and SUVs by mere inches.

And your solution.....is for there to be orders of magnitude MORE cars and MORE people to be hit?

Wow. Just wow.

Remember, there's a video. We can watch the actual events. You're fucked.

Of course they were. One of the vehicle's occupants even got out and was [peaceably] arrested.

they started using deadly force when the truck rounded the curve

quit lying you asshole i am not making finicum the victim

Sure you are, when you say things like "the state cops as well fired on the truck while it was a approaching who gave the shoot to kill orders that day" and "that is no reason to authorize deadly force".

He didn't "approach" he was traveling about 70 mph and appeared to be ready to crash into the barricade swerving at the last second into the snow almost running over a LEO.

Who "authorized deadly force" implies a conspiracy to kill Finicrum, LEO's are always authorized the use of deadly force to defend themselves and when an individual known to be armed is told to keep his hands up and instead yells "You will have to shoot me" and then reaches for a gun - there is no need to get "authorization" for deadly force. The authorization already exists under the law, you don't have to let someone shoot at you first before defending yourself.

he was traveling 70 miles and hour in a 65 mile an hour zone

better go look at the tape again

stop your lying the cops said they shot at the truck when it redounded the corner

what a minute at that time all they did was flee an official stop

that is no reason to authorize deadly force

so they say up to speeds of 70

what is the posted speed in that area 65

why didnt they simply throw spike across the road

Why didn't he stop instead of trying to run the police barricade and run over a police officer.

Why didn't he stay in the vehicle to then follow LEO instructions.

After jumping out of the vehicle, why didn't he not reach for his gun, keep his hand's up and follow LEO instructions.

You are trying to make Finicum the victim here, but in fact he was part of an armed takeover of a Federal building, was involved in a high speed chase, attempted to run a barricade almost running over a LEO, then attempted to draw a weapon on LEO's.

people run from the cops all the time

quit lying you asshole i am not making finicum the victim

There's a video of the entire event. You can make up whatever fairytale version of events you like. We can watch the video and see Finnicum resist arrest, run from the police, lead the cops on a high speed chase, rush the police blockade, swerve about a second before slamming into it, missing a police SUV and a LEO by mere *inches* before bursting from his truck and reaching for his gun. Twice.

Don't take my word for it. Here's the video.

Make up a fairy tale, I show you the video. Your ilk was fucked the moment the video was released.

i am pointing out the flaws of state police and fbi

Do I really need to go back and quote your previous comments on this issue? You've been desperately trying to polish Lavoy's cold, dead turd for weeks.

And no, you're imagining flaws with the State police, and you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

they handled everything that day poorly

and then lied about it to cover it up

The State police handled the situation professionally and legally. The shooting of Lavoy was perfectly justified.

The State police didn't 'lie' about anything. They didn't try to 'cover up' anything.

And none of the FBI shots fired hit Lavoy. Making them irrelevant to his death.

And? How does him traveling 70 mph in a 65 mph zone mean that its a 'lie' to claim he was traveling at upto 70 mph?

I don't think 'lie' means what you think it means. As you're AGREEING with me.

yes it is not too bright to shoot at the bad guys while your team mates are in line to be hit by arrant crossfire

it would be interesting to see if either one of the law enforcement trucks had bullet holes

it is really lucky that none of the cops accidentally shot each other

in their several crossfire actions

this will go down in the training journals as what not to do

Then you're completely full of shit. They gave Lavoy 7 full minutes to surrender, taking Ammon and his ilk into custody without incident. Lavoy would be cooling his jets in concrete box right now if he'd simply surrendered to a lawful warrant like the folks in the other car had done.

How do we know? Everyone who did surrender to the lawful warrant peacefully were fine. Its only those jack asses that resisted arrest, lead cops on a high speed chance and tried to run police blockades that ran into problems.

Finicum had a meeting with the sheriff who was waiting on them. The troopers could have called into the Sheriffs Dept to confirm Finicum was telling the truth. It was crucial Finicum had to be at that meeting in order to avoid being executed by the feds.
