Puritans would not allow a celebration of Christmas.
I'm Catholic, not Puritan. And both are far superior to atheism.I suspect he is... no one could possibly advocate a return to Puritanism.

It was not the Right that gave rise to the "Me Too" movement and allowed women to confront the men who exploitered them. The changes of the past 70 years were orchestrated by the Marxist left. Now women are treated like disposable trash. Again, thanks to the left.
Jesus, who you say founded the church, talked about almost none of those subjects. Doesn't seem very Christian. Here are a few beneficial changes that would be made under a Christian United States government.
and you'll explain just how simply being Catholic makes one morally superior????I'm Catholic, not Puritan. And both are far superior to atheism.
Done by Catholics.Oh, I can play that game too. A lot better than you.

Oh all right, only 40% of them...done by Christians, then.Done by Catholics.
Well, I guess it’s a good thing the Founding Fathers of the United States of America explicitly forbade the establishment of an “official” government religion.
What does the OP’s list have to do with you not having a father figure?Having grown up without the protection of a father, I was always acutely aware of feeling vulnerable. If I'd have had a father I can't even imagine how much better life would have been.
Read the post to which I was responding. What does the OP’s list have to do with you not having a father figure?
Folks must be entertained, even if it means risking Hell. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................You will never get a significant number of Americans….Christian or otherwise…. to back a regime that outlaws weed, porn, strip clubs, and R rated TV. No one wants to live in a country that fucking boring.
What exactly in that list promotes women being “cherished and treated like human beings”? You don’t need puritanical laws for that.Read the post to which I was responding.
Well, excuse the fuck out of me for having an opinion! What exactly in that list promotes women being “cherished and treated like human beings”? You don’t need puritanical laws for that.
Well, when you’re opinion is that the rest of us are hell bound because we smoke weed or go to a strip club or watch R rated TV…. you can’t be surprised when we disagree with that opinion.Well, excuse the fuck out of me for having an opinion!![]()
Disagree all you want. Just don't plan on taking me to hell with you.Well, when you’re opinion is that the rest of us are hell bound because we smoke weed or go to a strip club or watch R rated TV…. you can’t be surprised when we disagree with that opinion.
That’s a pretty huge portion of the population you’re condemning to Hell right there.
“I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints”Disagree all you want. Just don't plan on taking me to hell with you.
Being entertained is more important to you than your mortal soul. Your choice.“I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints”

The metoo thing is political leftwing crap. Phony outrage. If it were real, then Justin Fairfax, former AG of Virginia would have been forced to resign by the Democrats because of two separate credible allegations of RAPE by two different women. It was not the Right that gave rise to the "Me Too" movement and allowed women to confront the men who exploitered them.
