California ranks No. 1 among the 50 states for the percentage of its residents 25 and older who have never completed ninth grade and 50th for the percentage who have graduated from highschool, according to new data from the Census Bureau.



9.7 percent of California residents 25 and older, the Census Bureau says, never completed ninth grade. Only 82.5 percent graduated from high school.





In fact, the 2,510,370 California residents 25 and older who, according to the Census Bureau, never finished ninth grade outnumber the entirepopulations of 15 other states.

Actually, if you weren't so lazy, you'd see studies I used multiple resources, Including the US Census Bureau.
You are the one who is cheery picking using a source with not much when it comes to multi-parameters. Using multi-parameters is highly accurate, the fewer parameters, the more inaccuracy.

Actually, Mississippi is the least educated state, followed by West Virginia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Nevada, Tennessee, Oklahoma and then New Mexico.
Wow, there is a ton of RED states at the bottom.

Of the bottom 5 states , with the possible exception of W Va, would you want to bet against the statement that the black population of those states dragged their numbers down even lower than they otherwise would have been, and that those blacks primarily vote Democrat?

The moral of the story being that neither party has a monopoly on uneducated moron voters.

Kentucky has a very low population of blacks.
