Lefties explain our institutions are examples of Socialism; then cry that you dont know the meaning

Income inequality means the filthy, lazy asshole that has literally nothing to offer society should make the same amount of money as the guy that busts his ass every day, take risks and performs valuable services for the community.

I came from a job at a bank downtown and it's as clear as day. LOTS of sloppy dufuses bebopping along too fucking stupid to move over from the middle of the sidewalk when a guy is caring a ladder and tools.

Since 2009, the top 1% has had an average increase in income of 20%. The bottom 99% has an average income increase of 1%. Are you saying the entire lower 99% are sloppy dufuses?

It's been the Dems running things and they want to keep people down and forced to turn to government. Looks like things are going as planned.

Oh please. The only tool you ever lift is when you get out of bed in the morning. Or noon. Or whenever.
the Left lectures that all our publicly run programs and institutions are examples of Socialism we already have. then they demand MORE OF THAT, and FIGHT any attempt to privatize anything. Then the same left-wingers that lecture on what socialism is STILL CRY that you "dont know what socialism is" even after THEY told you what it was.

what's up wit that?

Medicaid is socialist. Name the Republicans who want to end it, outright.

Public education is socialist. Name the Republicans who want to end it, outright.

The military is socialist. Name the Republicans who want to end it, outright.

Shall I go on?

No all of those are aspects of a capitalist society, they are called safety net programs.

You just are making false assumptions in that both system have those components must make both systems the same.

You can not have a socialist society that will be self supporting, never has been one and never will be one.

We have already been down the European models are all failing and those are supposed to be the poster children for socialism.

You really got shitted on intelligence in life, didn't you??

Virtually every European nation is capitalist with a social safety net.

You say that's not socialism. You're completely confused.

So your stance is that you are ignorant fucks who want others with compassion to take care of your ignorant lazy asses???

Nah, my stance is that as human beings we should take care of each other and construct society in a way that everyone has at least some basic human rights, like food, water, clothing, housing, access to healthcare, education etc. without having to work 3 minimum wage jobs and still needing government assistance to survive.
You have 2 sympathy plays for ignorant butthurt whiny ass bitches like you and no substance to your fucking moronic argument.

I'm not religious but I think Jesus had some pretty good arguments, not very nice of you to call that "fucking moronic" comrade.
Hate the corporate tycoons and those who are intelligent

Ah, the compassionate wealthy "job creators" who need more tax cuts to do their holy work bull$hit again. Hate is a pretty strong word but I'd love to see creeps like Lloyd Blankfein, James Dimon etc. in prison and forced to work for a $1 a day so they could do something useful for society for a change.
We's ignorant but we's some hating fucking bitches ................

Funny, I thought that was your stance

OP- Because then they go to communism- as if Cuba, China, N. Korea are socialist in the modern sense of the word. Hint: Always democratic.

If you can't accept that the U.S. military is the largest socialist institution in the world then I feel sorry for your willful ignorance.

awwww I see the leftardz come out at night

your missed my point dummy.
does having publicly funded institutions mean we socialism? to you it does mean that. to me it doesn't

but regardless dimwit; if YOU'RE saying that it means we have socialism, and you loons are always telling us this; why do you still cry that others don't know the meaning of something YOU DEFINED?

because you are all a bunch of sissified crybabies. actually the stuff you idiot leftists isn't so settled. socialism can be an economic or a political system or both, and there is no one definitive definition of it

ok go cry some more now ok?

Lol you seem very confused. Liberals didn't define socialism. It is an objective concept. It has a strict criteria of what it means.

what is this universally-accepted "strict criteria" of the meaning of socialism, especially as it relates to whether a given country is in fact practicing it to whatever degree?

i cant wait for your answer................

Socialism: Cuba
Social Democracy: Germany

I wonder how much longer the two are going to be conflated.

yea i know; left-wingers cry about this all the time. but i'm not the one who said flat out the US military, among other institutions, are examples of socialism; are "socialist institutions". Besides, there are people on the Left in American politics, alot of them, that really do want something closer to "pure" socialism than the social democracies of Europe

What's the problem comrade, is it our fault you're too stupid to understand the benefits of socialism?

yes loon; break that down for me ok leftard?

Okay, two things there:

I would agree that some on the very far Left would be open to some kind of "modern" version of a pure socialist state. But that would be the real fringe, a tiny amount. Otherwise, everything will be a matter of degree. And I'm pretty sure that their goal is a Euro-social democracy, such as Germany, Sweden. For good or bad, that's it.

Regarding the way the lefties bring up socialist elements of our society, that's a door opened by conservatives when they scream "socialism" so often. This allows the lefties to easily point at elements of our society that could easily be described as "socialist", and say that we're already there to some degree.

That's why I point out the difference. The Right is complicit in this country's move to the Left because it's so easy to poke holes in absolutism.

ok "two things here";

how do you know it's a "tiny amount"? did you poll them all?

and in the same breath you say conservatives "open the door" i'm going to say left-wingers opened the door whining about how they are so misunderstood when in fact they are clearly what they are,
oh and you dont even know if they would be happy with the social democracy system of the type in europe do you?

the most laughble part of this post is the very last line.

the Right isnt responsible for the move of the Left to the far left.
first of all they dont even admit they've moved to the far left genius; they insist they are where they've always been and the Right moved to the far right

is there even one pro-life Democrat left?
where are the "Blue dog" Democrats?

did the Right make the Left purge their Party of moderate Democrats?

by that logic the Left created the Tea Party, heck could even be responsible for the shootin in the Charelston church. how far do you want to run with that moronic logic?

Capitalism almost always benefits people and the general public better than any other economic system because it creates both motivation and competition. The areas where it fails is when dealing with absolute necessities the public relies on that can be controlled by monopolies and or products and services particularly vulnerable to profiteering and abuse, and in some cases, when a product is dependent on publicly owned resources.

Benefits? What benefits?

Benefits like not having to worry about medical bills if you need a doctor (socialist healthcare), knowing you'll be able to feed your children even if you only have a minimum wage job at wallmart (a guaranteed decent minimum wage), the chance to get a good education even if your parents aren't rich (free public education), not having to live on the streets and eat out of garbage cans if the "job creators" decide to move your job to China (social security and unemployment benefits) etc. etc.

I know, it's pure evil. If you start with things like that you'll end up like North Korea in no time.
