She wouldn't have become critically dehydrated in a matter of a few hours. If she was treated for dehydration, then the fluids probably bolstered her blood pressure for a bit which is one of the issues with toxic shock. They probably need to do a better job of observing new detainees for awhile regardless of what they report as far as their health, especially children.
