One involves a business created by the person and invested in by them.
The other involves employment on demand.

The owner supported his staff's feelings on this matter. One involves a business created by the person and invested in by them.

Where and when? The Bible was once used to justify a ban on interracial marriage and discrimination. There is an ugly history here.
The owner supported his staff's feelings on this matter.
Yes I'm sure there will be consequences for his actions.Or was browbeaten into submission.
Now his business has taken a side because of it, and that never works out well.
Hey what happened to "Bake the Cake"?
I wonder if they would serve a group of Muslims that came in? I'm guessing yes, because that's different.

That's true, I realized that after posting. However, it IS US Federal law and that restaurant clearly violated it.That isn't the constitution.

I don't know their state's law, but whatever it is does not supercede Federal Law.More so than the baker and the photographer, but those people are being accused of State level violations, which expand the definition of a PA to basically every business transaction.

You don’t get to have your cake and eat it too.
So, what was your position on the baker that did not want to make a cake for the same sex wedding?

I have no doubt the so-called bible-compliant bakery would have baked adulterer Donald Trump's third wedding cake. So, what was your position on the baker that did not want to make a cake for the same sex wedding?
