What they should have done is let them march down the street chanting their nonsense, but block off all roads leading to the area where they were marching, so no spectators or media could get near them. When analytical language depends so much on feelings, the message is no where near concise. And, when rhetoric based on appeals to emotions is so prevalent, the rhetoric of the analysis itself is too weak to stand on its own.
