Limbaugh - Face It: Republicans Want Amnesty

Limbaugh's analysis, for once, is correct, and the states have no standing to sue about federal EOs.
Imagine all those states with AGs who didn't know they can't sue. I guess you're smarter than all of them....or dumb enough to think you are.

The cases will be dismissed summarily. And since they have no standing, they won't be asked to show imminent harm, which they can't anyway,

The states actually have a stronger standing than Congress. I'm so glad the lawyers are in charge of this and not you. Congress can t sue Obama over immigration action but governors might - CSMonitor.com

The cases will be summarily dismissed. No harm, no foul.

We need the Senate bill passed by the House, so we can put this behind the Republican Party if we want to survive.

For instance, of the 18 vulnerable Senate seats in 2016, 17 of them are Republican. The Dems only need to take five of the 17 to take charge again.

Sad but true. People like mccain and boehner and ryan and romney and jeb bush are taking huge bribes from the illegal alien lobby. No other way to explain why they support amnesty for illegals knowing that all these invaders will then go on welfare and vote dem.

1 - Because your dumbed down perspective is just false.

2 - Because the position they are now taking is politically expedient.

The Republicans have horribly mishandled too many things over the past several years. The move to make illegal presence a felon failed because Bush mucked it up. Republicans were not willing to stand up to Bush, and that was a mistake. That was a win for the open borders crowd because it make the Republicans look like they were engaging in a frivolous effort. Since Obama has taken office Republicans have devoted too much effort to frivolous efforts against Obama on birtherism, doomed efforts to repeal Obamacare, shutting down the government last year, and now the ridiculous effort to "defund" non-deportation.

Timing is everything and the Republicans have mismanaged theirs too many times in recent memory. They should have pushed immigration harder during Bush's Presidency. Meaningful reform would have been possible back then, but they waffled. On the other hand, they should have waited on Obamacare, until a time like now where they control both houses, or even until Obama was replaced. But they had to run half cocked, and now repealing Obamacare will be much more difficult and take much longer simply because the public's patience has been worn thin and the public is tired of idealism over results. Republicans in general have yelled so much for losing propositions that many in the public have tuned them out into background noise. That is leading people like Jeb Bush to attempt to move forward and separate from the past mistakes.

Bush was a socialist moron as a Governor... and he did no better in DC. The only thing good about Bush was in comparison to Kerry, Gore, Obama he was George effing Washington. Really this country has not had a good choice for president since bill clinton. What does that tell you about the political parties when the worst people in this country are being promoted to leader of it's political parties?

The problem is politicians no longer have any concept of true morality. Newt Gingrich is a perfect example but there are others too. Nobody ever wonders if running for president is the right thing, especially in light of personal failings. They instead do an strength/liability analysis and decide whether or not they can win. Their own selfish ambition is what drives them, not a conscientious pondering of what's best for the country.

And today, Jeb Bush is asshole number one.

He knows that statist RINO Republicans have lost the last two elections and that he's no different than McCain and Romney, but he's going to run anyway because he thinks he might have a shot. He doesn't mind the fact that his party does nothing to turn back the Leftist agenda and he would do everything in his power to sustain the status quo, making sure that the GOP doesn't actually become an opposition party. None of these people give a damn about the country they want to lead, only their own egos.....they want what they want and America be damned!

The last person I believe to run for president because he actually loved America is Ronald Reagan.

If they are dismissed for lack of standing there will be hell to pay. The states are paying out billions to give illegals the free health care and free schooling the feds demand.

Shoot, you have no hell to deal.

You will dealt with appropriately if you act stupidly.

You're a fool. It's always been like that. Congressmen go into politics with intent to sell their vote on every issue and make a fortune. That's why ronnie supported ammesty. The Illegal Alien Lobby paid him to do so like they today pay boehner and ryan and mccain etc

No argument there. From 2003-07 repubs controlled all 3 houses of govt and could have chased out the illegals. Same thing can be said about democrats though. From 2009-11 they controlled all 3 houses and could have granted amnesty to 20 million illegals who would have all voted for them. But they didn't and i'm sure captain choom is furious at himself for that.

There were others but they were deemed too conservative to win by the rinos.

Nobody wants to. Democrats, Republicans.. who cares. Nobody is interested in enforcing the law anymore. But just an addendum, I don't recall Bush ever signing any amnesty orders while he was president, just think about that for a moment.
