The problem is that ‘Trumpism’ is just another name for the same failed, wrongheaded conservative agenda Republicans have pursued for decades.

Most on the right support Trump’s anti-immigration nativism, his reckless, irresponsible, and unwarranted deregulation of business, his hostility toward privacy rights, the rights of gay and transgender Americans, and the voting rights of minorities.

Indeed, their opposition to Trump has more to do with their opposition to the messenger and not his message.

These are, after all, Republicans, wrong on most – if not all – the issues, with or without Trump.
