Seem to have a very high self value to assume everyone would automatically just take you're word for everything. Especially in a country of 300plus million people with a lot of thieves, liars, crooks and criminals with no sense of moral fiber.

I am a veteran and I never take military discounts because I don't think it's civilian strangers obligation to give me discounts and free stuff. I chose to join the army and I was financially compensated for it, it's not some random strangers duty to give me a discount. I never felt right about it, I don't like taking things I didn't earn or paid for.

But you thought it was cheap they asked for your ID to give you a discount? You're a disgrace to the uniform you claim to have worn, which I don't think you ever did.
