Lying to America

Barnes & Noble to Move Ben Carson "Biography" to Fiction Section

Barnes & Noble, the nation’s largest book retailer, has decided to move the Ben Carson biography Gifted Hands to its fiction section, in light of recent news reports casting doubt over claims contained in the retired neurosurgeon’s book.

According to a CNN report, several events described by Carson are fabricated, exaggerated or unverifiable, including his tale of receiving a full scholarship to West Point, after personally meeting with Viet Nam troop commander Gen. William Westmoreland. The Carson campaign admitted on Friday that the scholarship story was false.

Carson criticized the CNN report, calling it a “bunch of lies,” and further accused the network of victimizing people from his past by asking them whether stories about his violent behavior were true.

Barnes & Noble employee Sydney Luft said, “I’m not really into politics, but this change is confusing to customers and very stressful. Everyone’s asking for the book, and when I tell them it’s in the fiction section, they call me a racist.”

BUT....What difference does it make, Pussypussy?

The fact that he was open and honest about doing drugs was one of the many reasons he won the election dufus.

How about a specific example of a lie ?

Nothing else needs to be known about the losers on the left, than that question right there. Nothing.

Im calling you out bitch! Answer my question .

Well Timmy boy, how about these?

If you like your doctor, you'll be able to keep your doctor.
If you like your hospital, you'll be able to keep your hospital
The average family will see a $2500.00 a year decrease in insurance premiums.
The war in Iraq is over.
ISIS is a little JV team.
I will not put boots on the ground in Syria.

That enough for you, Timmy boy?

Thank you .

Keeping your doctor : shitty plans dropped people rather than stick wh the fed plan. Thats on them . The Feds didn't dump theM

That would be fine and dandy if not for the federal registry where team Obama stated that they expected most people to lose their health insurance. Need the link, just ask.

How about a specific example of a lie ?

"If you like your doctor you can keep him."

"The violence in Benghazi was a response to an offensive video."

I explained the doctor thing .

The video was an issue at the time. U act as if all
The infornation on a "surprise" attack is available instantly. . You have nothing .

The real lies is in the claim of lies .

Timmy boy, all you offered were excuses. The fact is Obama lied and no little excuse from you is going to gloss it over. You lose. Suck it up.

How about a specific example of a lie ?

"Nobody making less than 250K will see a tax increase of ANY KIND."

One of the first things ears did after invading the White House was institute a sin tax on cigarettes which are primarily used by middle-class and poor people.

Yes, I see you're a COWARD and can't reply HONESTLY about his DRUG USE and passing an FBI SECURITY CHECK.... Thanks for showing your TRUE colors! YELLOW!

How about a specific example of a lie ?

"If you like your doctor you can keep him."

"The violence in Benghazi was a response to an offensive video."

That's it? First you defend substandard policies and then you make a claim you can't prove?

What "substandard" policies? The fact that Obamacare outlawed them doesn't make them "substandard."

Hillary herself admitted in an email to her daughter that the video narrative was a big fat lie and that Al Queda associated groups planned the attack.

And contrary to claims by some members of Congress, it was fueled in large part by anger at an American-made video denigrating Islam.
A Deadly Mix in Benghazi

Talk about claims you can't prove. Hillary admitted that story was a lie.

Interesting piece written about how Obama can lie, and now Mrs. Clinton, and they get away with their lying. Really, no matter what side of the aisle you have to see how amazing it is what Obama has gotten off Scot free.

BLACK REPUBLICAN BLOG

If we were living in normal times, the following scandals and failures — without going into foreign policy — would have ruined a presidency to the point of reducing it to Nixon, Bush, or Truman poll ratings.

Think of the following: the Fast and Furious scandal, the VA mess, the tapping of the communications of the Associated Press reporters, the NSA monitoring, Benghazi in all of its manifestations, the serial lies about Obamacare, the failed stimuli, the chronic zero interest/print money policies, the serial high unemployment, the borrowing of $7 trillion to no stimulatory effect, the spiraling national debt, the customary violations of the Hatch Act by Obama cabinet officials, the alter ego/fake identity of EPA head Lisa Jackson, the sudden departure of Hilda Solis after receiving union freebies, the mendacity of Kathleen Sebelius, the strange atmospherics surrounding the Petraeus resignation, the customary presidential neglect of enforcing the laws from immigration statutes to his own health care rules, the presidential divisiveness (“punish our enemies,” “you didn’t build that,” Trayvon as the son that Obama never had, etc.), and on and on.

So why is there not much public reaction or media investigatory outrage?

The RW is a funny lot. To listen to them, everything a Democrat says or does is either a lie, or a scandal, or both.

However, oddly enough, everything a conservative Republican does is truthful, honorable, or purposely mischaracterized by other to look other than what it really is.

I can't help but ask myself what fantasy world is it that conservatives live in which allows them to see the world in such a convoluted fashion? All I can think of is that it's the world of the inexperienced or the simpleminded.

Alas, it reminds me of the way I saw the world when I was a kid. Back then, I thought that people who wore suits and had what some people probably consider to be more 'respectable' jobs or positions were somehow fundamentally more honest in comparison to laborers or the working class. Back then, I also thought that the police never broke the laws. It was naive as hell. But it was understandable because I was a kid.

Ironically, that brings me to Ben Carson.. Just because he was a neurosurgeon, it doesn't necessarily mean that he couldn't be some kind of pathological liar who engages in a false narrative about his own life for the purposes of self-aggrandizement. But for the people who get caught up in appearances, they're the ones who are more likely to get duped by con men who purposely make every effort to appear respectable in order to gain the trust of dupes.

The taxpayers don't think so. They see seven years of decline under Obama. They are fed up.

How funny is it that the rightwing propaganda machine that has made an industry out of trying to expose and attack alleged lies by people like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama

now try to claim there has been no media outrage over the same?

How so? By passing Clinton's free trade agreements? By having Unions make themselves irrelevant? By doubling the US debt?

Maybe if you RWnuts are concerned with honesty in politicians,

you'd support some honest ones.

You don't.
apparently then there are no honest politicians. But that certainly doesn't make Obama or Mrs. Clinton any more honest.

All politicians are dissemblers to one extent or another. They can be opposed to something up until the political winds change, and then, all of a sudden, they'll be for it. Or vice-versa.

They can also pander to popular views. So, when it comes to things like religion and music, it's no wonder that so many Southern conservatives profess a great faith in God or a love of country music. That's because it would be electoral suicide to say you're not really all that religious or that you prefer classical music, as just two examples.

They can also feign and profess outrage at things that might not be scandals at all. They'll do it if they think it suits their ends.

These type of things are not limited to one party or the other. It's the nature of politics in general.

Eddy Arnold loved classical music and was one of the most successful country artists of his day.
