There is not much the the West can do about the military development in Syria but with conjuring an opposition up out of nothing and send it to talks that will fail they possibly hope to gain a pretext for arming and training al-Qaeda terrorists on a large scale again.
In 2013, watchdog Hollande, who prepared to attack Syria with planes over chemical false flag, was whistled back by Obama.
