Not the point. You claimed the capo is for beginners. Clearly it is not.Is he on any greatest guitar player list?

Malcolm Young, 'one of the best rhythm guitarists in the world'
Of the five members of AC/DC Malcolm had the closest relationship with Sydney.www.smh.com.au

That's only accurate, up to a point. What is a Guitar Capo, and what is it Used For? – Free guides and ...
Capos are often used by beginners who are having difficulty with fingering some chords that require a lot of stretching in the hand and fingers. Over time, the musician will gain these skills, but in the early stages, a capo can really help a lot. This is in no way considered cheating. It is simply a learning aid.
AC/DC had the most unique rhythm style. One guitar was strummed down and the other was strummed up. It gave them a unique sound.Key word........Rhythm.
Yes, he can strum (play chords) also.
I can play chords on a guitar.
Doesn't mean I'm a great guitar player.
Yes. Beginners use capos as well as professional touring musicians.I also posted a link that said the same thing.
That's only accurate, up to a point.
Plenty of experienced players use capos. A lot of times, they use it for when they use a lot of open string sound while fretting notes against those strings and creating melodies higher up the neck.
And if they are using different open tunings.
Like Edge, from U2.

Well a big part of that is that the people we all seem to call "the best players" are flashy guitar solo guys. No need for a capo.I agree.
My only point is that players who are considered the best guitar players, don't use them.
It all started with OP posting T. Swift being voted top 10 guitar players.
Nothing wrong with using a capo, it's just not something the best guitar players do.
Shows how stupid her fan base is.
Anyone who considers her a guitar player doesn't know what actual guitar playing is.
Yes, she can strum a guitar......play a guitar she cannot.
Notice who is actually PLAYING the guitar in this video, Taylor is just strumming chords.
Also, notice how she is using a Capo, guitar players don't use those.
One of the most underrated guitar players of all time. Dude was incredibleI'm not sure anybody would question Glen Campbells ability as a guitar player. He performed with a capo
