Mitt Romney is the 40 percent. Finally.
A new Gallup poll has Romney crossing the 40 percent threshold in Republican voter support, the first time any Republican in the 2012 campaign has reached the mark nationally.

Yep, that's right...in three days from now four years ago, Romney 'finally' managed to garner the same support that Trump has had for months. And the Establishment rallying cry in 2012 was 'Coalesce behind the front-runner'.
It's a totally different story in 2016. When their hand pick choice isn't the front-runner. When the people have the audacity to make their own choice. The Establishment tilts the playing field to their advantage at every turn, but when even that fails, they still can't accept a democratically chosen nominee.
