I have posted on this board before that the Democratic Party has rejected heterosexual white males. There will NEVER be a white heterosexual male as the party nominee. Biden might be last possibility but he has all the Hunter Ukraine baggage. That demographic left the party and voted Trump in 2016. We also know Democrats like gimmick candidates. Something unique that sells like a new handbag on 5th avenue or the latest health food craze.

I’m a political science major and have seen the Iowa Caucuses through the eyes of being part of a candidates campaign. We finished 2nd after being at only 12% for nearly 2 years.

Here's an interesting parallel: If Barry Soetoro had been "white," his campaign would have been laughed into oblivion before it ever got started. Zero credentials. If Mayor Pete were not a fudge-packer, who, exactly, would be taking his candidacy seriously? Anyone?

And for those who are intoxicated by Biden's lead in the "national polls," kindly remember that there is no national primary. It is state-by-state, and getting beat in Iowa and NH - while statistically ridiculous - will cost Biden a lot in public confidence.

Biden's most likely route to the Democrat Ticket in November would be a series of inconclusive primaries, followed by a Democrat convention where he can be crowned King of the Lefties. And from what I read, that is exactly what the Party leadership had in mind when the latest rules changes were written.
