Medical marijuana activist in Kansas could face charges
The parents aren't being charged solely for what the kid said.. The parents are being charged for having drugs and paraphernalia in the house. In the open.
I'm not going to argue wether or not weed should be legal (because it should be). But regardless, have a little restraint and be a good parent and not keep drugs in the open if you have a child in the house.

From what I understand making the oil is extremely dangerous.
So doing so in a neighborhood is unwise,doing so with a child in the house is criminal.
If she wants to make her oil let her do it somewhere that she'll only kill herself.
