Four members of the Proud Boys were recently indicted in federal court over their use of encrypted messages to plan and organize their actions during the January 6th attack. Based on the messages which we're fully released to the public, suspects were fully aware that we attacked would take place prior to Trump's rally which proves that it was an organized plan to attack. The messages include leaders informing members that police officers were the primary threat once the attack started that they needed to be taken out, as well as informing their members who took part in the attack to not wear their traditional uniforms so that they cannot be tied to the group.
though there's only four indictments in this situation the FBI is now fully investigating the proud boys, and it's likely that the organization will be designated as a terrorist group and all its members placed on the no-fly list, similar to their status in Canada.
