Michael Cohen office raided by FBI

Sorry bout that,

1. It will be costly to Mueller.
2. He is a screw up.
3. Its better to just go ahead and fire his dumb ass!
4. And abuse of power charges should be brought against him in Federal Court.

For what?

Sorry bout that

1. First off he's overstepping the law, raid a sitting Presidents law office, he should of known thats a no no.
2. No bodies lawyers office should be raided, there is an attorney client privilege, which happens to be all over USA.
3. Thats why Mueller screwed up, and is a criminal, in the Supreme Courts eyes, if they understand the LAW.
4. Mueller needs firing, he's done.

Your head's too far up your ass to see the facts here. First, Mueller didn't raid anyone's office. He gave a REFERRAL to the Southern District of NY and THEY determined what they were going to do with it. THEY requested the warrant and a JUDGE approved it. Nothing to do with Mueller except that as he waded through the muck he found something (we don't know what) that happened in NYC concerning Cohen.

So...will the Liar in Chief pardon Cohen and if he does, does that add to the obstruction case that Mueller has built. I expect that Mueller thinks trump will begin pardoning people caught is this investigation. Mueller will have back up plans, I assure you.

How did a criminal like trump get in the position to pardon other criminals?......AMAZING!
President Trump can't pardon Cohen if he is arrested on state charges. The NYC investigation may be a problem.

I thought that too but was corrected. The Southern District of NY is a FEDERAL COURT, presidential pardons cover any federal prosecution.

So any news that may hurt trump or his regime is relegated to Tainting or the Bad Lands.....how diplomatic....

Yes, and unless you hear it from a Sinclair station, it's fake news.

Sinclair has faced scrutiny for the conservative slant of their stations' news reporting and other programming decisions, and how the company's rapid growth has aided its dissemination of content that appeal to these views. Sinclair has also faced criticism over business practices that circumvent concentration of media ownership regulations, particularly the use of local marketing agreements, accusations that the company had been currying favor with the Trump administration in order to loosen these rules and about its management lacking diversity and being totally controlled by a single family. Critics including former news anchor Dan Rather have described Sinclair's practices as being "an assault on our democracy" by disseminating what they perceive to be Orwellian-like propaganda to its local stations.

Yes, however the NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and a couple of others are totally in the loop on a lot of the Mueller investigation - Perhaps stuff about Cohen too. Mueller is covering all the bases.

It will definitely be the way they catch up to Jared and his crooked loans/ money laundering.

Okay ?

Latest breaking updates are that raid is regarding Trumps payments to women Before he was a candidate for President
Personification of a witch hunt

Psst....

The payments to the porn star for boinking her were made just a couple of weeks before the election to keep the information that Candidate Dennison had boinked a porn start while Melania was at home just after having his son.

The actual boinking of the porn star occurred in 2006, the payment wasn't made until just before the 2016 elections. By that time he was the candidate.

No, dope.

Money. Try reading the post I responded to that you conveniently omitted.
Then, why are they going after all the client files? You know. The stuff that is privileged and confidential?

Here you go, dumbass. Next time, answer your own questions.

The Crime-Fraud Exception to the Attorney-Client Privilege
Not all attorney-client communications are privileged.

The attorney-client privilege protects most communications between clients and their lawyers. But, according to the crime-fraud exception to the privilege, a client’s communication to her attorney isn’t privileged if she made it with the intention of committing or covering up a crime or fraud.

Because the attorney-client privilege belongs to the client, the client’s intent determines whether the exception applies. Most courts will apply the exception even if the attorney had no knowledge of, and didn’t participate in, the actual crime or fraud.

The crime-fraud exception applies if:

  • the client was in the process of committing or intended to commit a crime or fraudulent act, and
  • the client communicated with the lawyer with intent to further the crime or fraud, or to cover it up.

Not as actors...telling your lawyer about a crime is one thing..the lawyer acting as a willing participant in a crime quite another..if that is what happened.
