Michigan Electors To Have Police Escort Ahead Of Monday Vote

Sure.

Only electors are allowed in.

You're not an elector unless you're elected.

They weren't.

They are appointed, not elected. Lol!

No, they're elected. That's the whole point of the election on November 3rd. We vote for a slate of electors.

There was a Republican-picked slate and a Democratic-picked slate. The voters elected the latter.

They are first and foremost appointed then they are elected.

Correct, and the ones that were elected by the state were the Biden electors.

That's why the Rump electors had no business being there. Their role never came up. They are dismissed.

I said nothing about Biden nor Trump. I know how the process works and never said otherwise.

You said the electors who went in today weren't elected. Go ahead, read up. It's right there.

I responded to mamooth ā€œYou're not an elector unless you're elected.ā€ I said nothing about Michigan or if anyone should be anywhere or not. Read into it what you want, I really donā€™t care. I have no interest in this election. The person I voted for didnā€™t get one electoral vote. I donā€™t know Michigan law nor do I care since I donā€™t live there and it isnā€™t my business.

And that response was, quote:

Sure.

Only electors are allowed in.

You're not an elector unless you're elected.

They weren't.

They are appointed, not elected.

I can point this out as many times as you want to deny that it's sitting there.

Yes, the Electoral College is appointed, not sure what the hell your point is, nor do I care. You just argue to argue and you spin and spin.

I never said anything about Trump, Biden or Michigan. I donā€™t live there, I didnā€™t vote for either and who is allowed to go to the ECā€™s vote, I donā€™t know and really donā€™t care who does and doesnā€™t go. At the end of the day other than your stupidity, Michigan and what happened their makes no difference in my life.

So you can infer what I meant or what you think I meant by your narrow minded interpretation of my post, but at the end of the day. I know what I posted, I know what I meant and you are just trying to stir up crap over something not important.

This is sad. The fact that electors in Michigan need to have a. police. escort to go vote on Monday is just sad.

This shouldn't be needed but crazy trump people will be protesting outside the capitol on Monday and the electors won't be safe going there without police protection.

Think about that for a minute. Americans need police protection from other Americans when they go to vote.

We have never had this happen in America at least in my lifetime if not ever in the history of our nation.

What is wrong with trump people?

What is sad when it comes to Michigan is Detroit and itā€™s decades of corruption and economic failure. Police escorts are the norm.

Sad to see those cops get off their knees

Democrat cops are henchmen, not law enforcement.

There is so much wrong I can't even manage to find a beginning.

MAGA

We are seeing things that don't happen in a free democrat republic like ours because trump people don't believe in freedom or a democratic republic.
Like Russian collusion hoax?

It's quite simple.
You posted that the electors who went to cast their votes, were not elected. But they ARE elected. When voters in Michigan or any other state vote for Rump or Biden or whoever, they're actually voting for the slate of electors associated with that candidate. That's what we're literally doing with the ballot.

So in the case of Michigan the voters elected the slate of electors associated with Biden/Harris, which is why they went to cast those votes on December 14th, and why the electors associated with Rump/Pence had no business being there. The electorate decided which electors should go and by process of elimination, which should not.

MUST
ENFORCE
THE
NARRATIVE........

They don't "need" escorts but by giving them escorts the left can make the public believe that the right is dangerous.

Only stupid people fall for this shit. Like you for example

Good grief, you only read what you want. The very next post I said "They are first and foremost appointed then they are elected." I agreed with you and you still disagree. You went off about Biden and Trump and people not needing to be there and I don't care about the side show. All I am saying is the Electoral Voters are appointed and then as you pointed out elected. That is all I am saying.

The rest of the conversation is not important to me.

I can imagine you folks creating a new permanent underclass populated by "Crazy Trump People"!!!

Not necessary. You're going to segregate yourselves voluntarily, because reality has gotten too painful to you.

You might want to check if the Koresh compound near Waco is available, or the Peoples Temple compound in Guyana. It they aren't, you can build new cult compounds in remote areas, where you can all gather to await the SecondComingOfTrump.

Here's a cat who "disagreed" when I posted that "nobody wants to take responsibility for his/her own words"....

.... and now he comes back to "disagree" with his OWN POST that I just quoted.

Now watch him come back and "disagree" that he disagreed with himself.

This could go on indefinitely. The message board hall of mirrors.

Reality in a socialist/communist society is why millions of illegals and legal immigrants escaped their countries and came to America.
Maybe this is you NUMBSKULLS way to purge all of those folks out of the country.
But where will they go once you turn America into another 3RD WORLD SHITHOLE???

Is this the same event where police wouldn't allow republican electors to enter the
Michigan state house?

First the election is stolen. Then republicans are not allowed to enter the state capitol where this crime
is being discussed and covered up. Well, that's to be expected I guess.

I don't ever recall the state of our country being so bad that electors need police escort to perform their duties and election officials, workers, and their families receive death threats.

And people excusing this.

No. It wasn't just because. They'd been receiving threats. Credible threats according to law enforcement. Is there any point where we can admit that we are going way too far?

Ironic because I don't remember a time ever when political representatives of one party were blocked from entering a state house and participating in the political process, particularly when the matter of a contested election is at stake with the presidency in dispute.

And this has hardly been reported. Imagine republicans putting police at the door and refusing entry
to democrats.
