Millions lose coverage

The usual leftist fib.

No one's losing anything.

The Obamacare law that forced everybody to sign up whether they wanted to or not, is gone now. Everybody can remain signed up to whatever they had before if they want to, no one loses anything. Some people might decide to drop whatever insurance they had under Obamacare... and most of those will likely sign up for some other plan. But those are the ones where the hysterical liberals are screaming, "OH MY GOD, THEY LOST THEIR INSURANCE!!"

Sort of like a guy driving down the street, who decides to turn left at the next corner. The liberals would scream, "OH MY GOD, HE'S LOST HIS CHANCE TO GO STRAIGHT DOWN THE STREET!!!", as though something happened to the guy against his will.

We'll have a Democratic House next year.
Democrats sang goodbye to those repubs who voted to kill ACA. on the floor today.

I do not get you people wanting to throw your money at insurance companies at all. You DO NOT need health insurance, period. Get a fucking credit card and don't fucking use it unless your sick - you'll save more money than you know what to do with.

43 year old executive, /never/ had medical insurance in my life and I refuse to. Don't fucking need it, don't want it, and I sure as hell don't want to pay for anyone else to throw money at insurance companies like dumb asses... Auto insurance at least made a little sense because the person being hit was out money to fix their car when they had no fault - insurance forced the other party to have some form of currency to fix that injustice. Health insurance is nothing but a game of stealing, and when you've got deductibles of $10 grand and shit, plus another $10 grand a year it's made even worse a theft with no benefactors in need of justice. It's complete crap top to bottom, stop falling for bullshit you morons; dumb decisions like this are why you fucks will end up poor.

"If you tell a big enough lie, often enough, people will believe it." - Josef Goebbels, mentor to today's leftist wishful thinkers
That quote applies to the GOP today.

Nope I don't get it. Throwing money in the toilet will /never/ make sense to me.

To be completely frank I find it amusing that ya'll think you're "better people" because you're wanton and willing to do it. I mean whatever, it's your money, except it's /not/ your money with ACA is it? No, its mine. You want to steal my money and flush it. Of course I object...

Congress has the legal right to steal our money and give it away to the welfare queens but that don't make it right.

As far as I'm concerned, it's Congress who are the welfare queens.

We have a lot of welfare queens in this country. The core voting consistency of the Democrat Party is the largest groups. There are other groups.

I vote Democrat and have done so all my life and will continue to do so. I work and am not on foodstamps and don't have an EBT card.
If that's the case why do you think the government should take care of your healthcare? You can do everything else on your own so why can't you shop for your own insurance?

The government regulating and nationalizing healthcare is a good way to eliminate insurance companies and get rid of skyrocketing premiums and costs and ensure everyone can be treated.
It's a good way to ration healthcare.

After all the failures of single payer healthcare it's amazing that there are actually people who think it means that everyone gets health care. They get coverage, just not actual care.

Maybe you geniuses Trumpster's should discover how you're going to get fucked over. Because, I know you dump fucks are totally clueless.
Allowing states to define “essential health benefits” could weaken ACA protections against catastrophic costs for people with employer coverage nationwide | Brookings Institution
Doesn't matter. See, this is about "freedom" 'n stuff.

So the Republicans are just doing folks a favor, making them "free" to not have coverage and lose everything if they get sick.

And of course, the rest of us will be free to pay for them, and for those who get emergency service only because they can't pay for a plan.

So it's a good thing. Freedom. Yeah.
.

And of course, the rest of us will be free to pay for them, and for those who get emergency service only because they can't pay for a plan.

That is why rates will not go down.
Unless - and I believe this is part of it - the federal government pays them down. Which would be "socialism".

From the folks who are fine to mangle an already ridiculous law instead of just opening the already-functioning Medicare / Medicare Advantage / Medicare Supplement system to all, because they think that's "socialism".

Absolute fucking madness.
.

Once again I am for the 20 something kids in America, I want them to enjoy life... not pay into a system that they can't afford to take at least one vacation.. any where in the world they want to go

But the insurance company bitches..

Just want you to pay and pay.. so you can't afford to pay to go to nowhere...

Have you priced car insurance for that age bracket?

It's a mandate..
Allowing healthy people to say no to insurance and forcing insurance companies to cover very sick people (ban on prexisting conditions) make insurance really expensive.

For whom?

I thought this was a country of freedom.
For everyone in the insurance pool.

Under the new law, you're free to say no to insurance. However, when the day comes you need insurance your premiums will be 30% higher and that can be really a lot since premiums can be as much as 5 times higher when you're older. There is also another gotcha. If you don't have insurance, you may have waiting period, depending on regulations. Having to wait as long as a year to get coverage when you're racking up medical bills of $5,000 a month can be pretty painful.

A lot of people will die because they won't be getting treatment and will die violently at home...Fuck the republican party! It is all war against these mother fuckers now!!!

My mom, mother in law and other family members are going to be hurt.
