Apparently his book flopped,he has been sacked everywhere for his paedo views and all his speaking events are cancelled because decent folk protest. Still doesnt excuse him whining like a bitch though.

Milo doesn't have pedo views. He has spoken out about his own sexual experiences as a teenager. If anything he was a victim, but he doesn't see himself as one.

He didn't ask anyone to give him a platform. What the Left is engaged in is a campaign of taking away the Free Speech rights of anyone who is not a prog by deplatforming them. If Big Tech is going to have the 1996 safe harbor of not being responsible for content, it can't also engage in censorship of perfectly legal speech (while enabling child porn, islamic terrorism, drug trafficking and the host of creepy stuff that drives traffic for them).

Ive only ever been on a couple of protests. One was cnd which was not opposing anyones freedom of speech.

Ive also been involved in organising a couple of protests against the owners of my football club when they were trying to develop the ground into a DIY store. They had legal rights and I was careful that what we did was not breaking the law. We just wanted to break them which we eventually did. the club and ground are still there and they are just history.

The other was a counter march against neo nazis who wanted to march through our town. We stopped them and the police herded them into a pub for their own safety. I would go again tomorrow if they were stupid enough to come back. Its not acceptable to spread hate and intimidate my neighbours.

Im not particularly militant and I pretty much believe in live and let live. But free speech comes with responsibilities and,to me, that doesnt include a free pass to spread hate.

So with Milo I am afraid I cant sympathise with him. He is a poisonous little shit who is free to say what he wants where he wants. As are all of us. And that is the point.

I realize that reasoning and knowledge are not exactly your strong suits, so I'll try to explain this in terms a simpleton can understand.

In 1996, Congress passed the Communications Decency Act. This act contained a "safe harbor" provision which means that Big Tech platforms (Google, FB, etc.) are not responsible or liable for any content they carry. Given how they transmit a great deal of child pornography, islamic terrorist coordination, drug trafficking (among the great array of unseemly things they enable), their efforts to censor perfectly legal speech by deplatforming those with political viewpoint they oppose runs counter to their safe harbor protection. They are either a "common carrier" or they are a publisher. They are trying to have both the protection of a platform while having the editorial control of a publisher. These two things are incompatible.

Big Tech has such control (more than Standard Oil or AT&T did when they were broken up), that there are no real alternatives for nationwide (or global) communication. Their biased deplatforming is dangerous to our society, regardless of one's politics, due to their overwhelming power to manipulate the debate.
