Mississippi about to turn up the stupid?

Prove it.
Don't have to go far. Clinton lying to America on national t.v. "I did not have sex with that woman". He wasn't responsible to admit in the first place he was wrong.

That proves that one person is a liar.

Don't you know, everything is Clinton's fault to these wing-nuts. It's perfectly valid, until someone says everything is Bush's fault, in which case you're the wing-nut and they are not.

Partisanship, my dear fellow. All humans lie about different things. Politicians just do it on all of them.

It's not human!?!

What is it if not human?

Chicken?

Cow?

Elephant?

A scientific textbook called "Basics of Biology" gives five characteristics of living things; these five criteria are found in all modern elementary scientific textbooks:

1. Living things are highly organized.
2. All living things have an ability to acquire materials and energy.
3. All living things have an ability to respond to their environment.
4. All living things have an ability to reproduce.
5. All living things have an ability to adapt.

According to this elementary definition of life, life begins at conception, when a sperm unites with an oocyte. From this moment, the being is highly organized, has the ability to acquire materials and energy, has the ability to respond to the environment, has the ability to adapt, and has the ability to reproduce (the cells divide, then divide again, etc., and barring pathology and pending reproductive maturity has the potential to reproduce other members of the species). Non-living things do not do these things. Even before the mother is aware that she is pregnant, a distinct life has begun to live inside her.

What is the point of responding like this? All you've done is repeat the same position that he just debunked. Your hair is "human" but is not, itself, a human being.

He nor you have debunked anything. Human life begins at conception, period.

At 40 days after conception, brain waves can be read on an EEG (electroencephalogram) (Dr. Hannibal Hamlin, Life or Death by EEG, JAMA, Oct.12, 1964, p.113).

At 21 days after conception, the baby's heart has begun to begin his or her own unique blood-type, often different than the mother's (Moore & Persaud, The Developing Human, p.310; Nilsson & Hamberger, A Child is Born, p.86; Rugh & Shettles, From Conception to Birth, p.217).

Medical science already refers to a spontaneous heart rhythm and the presence of brain waves to determine whether someone is alive at the other spectrum of human existence.

In simplistic terms, if an organ donor is in an automobile accident and is on life support in a hospital, the physician cannot "pull the plug" and scavenge his organs unless the patient is "brain dead" and his heart is not beating on its own.

If the medical community maintained consistency with this generally-accepted medical definition of human life, then we would condemn every abortion after the time when the woman discovers she is pregnant. Every abortion, by the generally-accepted standards of medical science, kills an innocent human life.

Conservative views are more in line with common sense while libtard views are in line with irresponsibility.

You're so out of touch with conservatism it's pathetic.
Right. I do not even like a lot of the republicans in office because they are not conservative enough. But they are still better than the libtards in office. It is the left that the commies decided to back back in the 60's with the first socialist movement, the flower children. Who by the way the clintons were part of.

You people must remember that a cell itself is a colony of beings, organized to work together for the mutual benefit of all. Cells must have the faculty of memory, skill and intelligence to do things. Every cell in our body has this faculty of memory. There is a centrosome who is the general manager of the cell. There is also evidence of transference of physiological influences from cell to cell by means of protoplasmic bridges, showing that the nucleus in one cell may thus control the membrane - forming activity in an un nucleated fragment of another cell. Every cell must be an intelligent individual in order to be able to receive orders and execute them. The cell possesses judgment and understanding and does nothing blindly. All cells of the body are possessed of intelligence just as the original cell which started the construction of the body. If a man is intelligent the cell must be.

Couple of things come to mind here, one is, if this law passes will it really keep those seeking the services of a clinic or physician that performs these services from doing so? for example, Mississippi is fairly easy to drive across in a single day, if that, so what is to keep a person from seeking services elsewhere in the several states that surround it. The other thing that comes to mind here is this, if life begins at conception then it would follow that life would be able to be self sustaining at conception in that it can survive outside the host. If it can, then that is where the legislation should be directed, having said that if Mississippi makes the choice through its vote to say otherwise then they have spoken and it is the law they choose to live under.

This is false. How do you think the harvest a heart for transplantation?

So? It's still not a human being. It's a fertilized egg. Fuck, You ever get eggs from a farm instead of a supermarket? You probably get a fertilized egg one out of every couple of dozen you purchase. Just because that egg is fertilized doesn't make it a chicken.... and it certainly doesn't mean that if you were to eat that egg, that you had a chicken dinner. The truth is... when you come across a fertilized egg... you say.. "oh fuck" and throw the damned thing away.

BTW... you can tell it's fertilized because it will have a little splash of blood in the yolk.... in case you are a city dweller who hasn't seen one.

It's not human!?!

If that's true, than your own body is committing murder when it breaks down excess sperm for protein. Or when it sheds skin cells, or when you grow your finger nails.

Shed skin and fingernails have the ability to reproduce, respond to their environment, has the ability to aquire material and energy?

Tell me exactly what are the five characteristics of "living things" in shed skin and fingernails.

Right. I do not even like a lot of the republicans in office because they are not conservative enough.

"Conservative" as you so define it. The problem with your wing-nuts is that you're so busy trying to pull north and south in an attempt to define the east and west.

Shed skin and fingernails have the ability to reproduce, respond to their environment, has the ability to aquire material and energy?

Shed skin and fingernails are dead. Living human cells do have all of those abilities in most cases. (There are some exceptions such as mature nerve cells which cannot reproduce, but are still considered alive.)

Semantics.

A human being is human, isn't it?

So infanticide should be legal?

:cuckoo:

God is love
Love is blind
Stevie Wonder is blind
Therefore, Stevie Wonder is God.

So much for your lonestar "logic."

Explain this quote:

"Who are you or anyone else to decide what one person does with that life?"

If it doesn't mean that a mother has the soul right to decide if her child should live or die, then what does it mean?

He nor you have debunked anything. Human life begins at conception, period.

Prove it.

The entire basis for life beginning at conception stems from well documented, universally recognized scientific fact.

Science has quite clearly and decidedly proven that human life begins at conception (i.e. fertilization. AKA the moment sperm and ovum meet and form an entirely new, self-directing living organism of the human species with its own individual DNA distinct from both mother and father.).

When does life begin?
