I don't buy that stuff in bulk. Ammo...yes. Canned goods and jerky? No. Those expire within a couple years. I live in a hurricane zone. It's common sense to have survival prep. Canned goods and jerky go bad too quick unless you plan to rotate through them every 2 years, and I don't eat those things regularly so it's a waste. Hugo hit here and cut us off from society for a few weeks. Anyone living in a disaster prone area should prep a bit.
