Correct. That only means one thing. People who have the virus, who don't know they have the virus, and have no reason to think they have the virus, are unwittingly spreading the virus.

Actually doctors are saying Covid 19 infections have most likely been occurring in the US for months, most were never treated because of mild symptoms much like a cold or flu. The same populations that are subject to complications from the flu are likely to develop complications from Covid 19. So the comparison with the flu is accurate, there's no real evidence that Covid 19 will have a higher mortality rate with proper treatment.

The fact is the US has been aware of and dealing with Covid 19 for less than two months. I find it funny that you commies think the test kits for a new strain of the corona virus should be available instantaneously, the real world doesn't work that way. It takes time to ramp up testing and 15,000 test kits will be going out this week, if you think about it, that's an amazing response. The Trump admin has responded as well as any other admin has in similar situations. So take your commie propaganda and shove it.

8,400 people in cali are being monitored; & 2 people in a nursing home in washington state tested positive - 1 is a worker & 1 is a patient. the elderly are at high risk of death & chances are more will come down with it.

the elderly & those in poor health are always in increased risk of getting it. They are susceptible to getting most diseases for that very reason. That isn’t an earth-shattering revelation. But this entire thread is nothing more than partisan rhetoric & fear mongering.

i worked with the elderly - both in & out of a nursing home & know full well what can happen when an illness breaks out. hopefully it won't come down to it - but if people start dying 'en masse' - then will y'all start to take it a bit more seriously than it seems you are?
