Mitt as GOP Chair: Should He? Would He?

Mitt Romney as Republican National Committee chairman???

There's no doubt at all that if Mitt Romney wanted the job he would perform it brilliantly and that HIS part of the campaign to help rescue America would quickly become one of the GOP's competitive advantages in 2016.

Should Mitt have his eye on Reince Priebus' job? Remember, Romney isn't the ogre your unreliable media has led you to believe. He's actually one of the best MEN we have ever seen run for the job. So, I don't believe he would orchestrate the removal of Priebus.

But, if Reince was fired, would Mitt Romney take the job?

Remember, Mitt Romney is someone who believes in giving back to America. He is a Patriot who would do what he could, if asked in this instance, to help save America.

I think Cuccinelli might have won if Mitt had been the RNC chair.

His Country still needs his services even if they weren't smart enough to vote for him instead of a lying SOS Obama.

Whattya thinK?

he is a great man but his performance as a candidate cost him the presidency. which is mostly our loss, not his.
I won't mind having him as a chair.

Why not, he has much to bring to the table, including his expertise in winning elections at the national level.

Is this a joke thread? Mitt Romney was a terrible candidate.

For President.

Different jobs have different requirements from the people who'd be successful in the job.

I happen to believe he would have done A STELLAR JOB as POTUS.

And he would be a terrific improvement over Priebus who was, ARGUABLY, responsible for Cuccinelli losing in VA.

I think Mitt would have been a caretaker POTUS. He would have made America stronger and safer and more prosperous without drawing attention to the progress he would have made. Then, in a second re-election bid ALLLL of the great things he did would come spilling out.

No, wait a minute. I was presuming a FAIR MSM.

Silly me!

Nevermind.

More than Reince has.

And he had done more good for his country than Obama ever had until Obama pulled the trigger on bin Laden.

A no'ont and he won't

...In legal proceedings under Shari'a law, a woman’s testimony is worth half of a man’s before a court...

I think this provision of Sharia law should be applied to you in these discussions.

Whatever you say should be discounted by half.

I think it’s time to let the Mitt dream go; he’s not Presidential material. And I’m not saying that in a mean way…

Obama was running on like 3-4 different scandals on the eve of the election, had so many weak points, had disappointed so many, and Mitt (due to his lack of charisma and likeability) STILL failed.

Sorry, but not everyone can be a rock star, just as not everyone is cut out to be President. I think Mitt has the smarts, he’s probably a nice guy, very business savvy, etc, but unfortunately just doesn’t connect with people in the way a Presidential figure must.

Let him go…

Hard to think of a socialist-leaning closet democrat in the position.....

But, whoops, there t'is.....

With all due respect...

he won't....i'm pretty sure he is done with politics...he is a horrible national candidate and it makes no sense why he would chair the party on a national level

As a judge of talent you don't judge everyone by the same standard. Mitt wasn't a good POTUS candidate because IMO he was just too nice a person.

That doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good RNC Chair.

Look at what he's done well and why he did it.

Could they, would they, pick a Mitt?
Should I, could I, give a shit?
Wasserman's a **** and Romney's a drag
I wish I could put them all in a burlap bag.
Cover them in dung and douse them in pee
Fuck the DNC and the GOP.

Friends,Republicans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to critique Romney, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Romney. The noble Santorum
Hath told you Romney was not conservative.
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Romney answer’d it.
Here, under leave of Santorum and the rest–
For Santorum is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men–
Come I to speak in Romney's defense. He was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But Santorum says he was not conservative;I
And Santorum is an honourable man.
He humiliated in defeat a miscreant while merely a youth
Whose actions brought shame to his preparatory school.
Did this in Romney not seem conservative?
When that the poor have cried,
Romney hath profited;
Conservatism should be made of such stuff:
Yet Santorum says he was not conservative;
And Santorum is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the campaign trail
He made humor of Obama's blood-line to the throne?
Which he did thrice repeat; was this not conservatism?
Yet Santorum says he is not conservative.
And, sure, he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Santorum spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to lay blame on him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the Cayman's there with Romney;
And I must pause till it come back to me.

I don't agree with your disdain for Mitt, but the lyrics are catchy!

:D

Loved HOW you said it.

Not so much what you said.

Nevertheless, I appreciate your high minded creativity.

Good show!
