At this point in reagan's presidency, the unemployment rate was at 6.2%. As you pointed out, Obama started out with a higher unemployment rate; which was also climbing rapidly since, unlike reagan, Obama inherited a recession.

100% stupid since recessions are not comparable you idiot. Reagan faced 20% interest rates and recession after he got elected. Obama faced 0% interest rates after he got elected and recession ended 6 months after Obama got elected thanks to Bush policies.
