Mueller Reined In

Doesn't matter...

What DOES matter - in the context of this thread - is that Mueller isn't reined-in, in the slightest - from a practical perspective...
Mueller will report what he finds regardless of whether it is outside the scope of the original investigation

It is like investigating a stolen bicycle and finding a cache of drugs in the suspects garage

You just don't ignore evidence of a crime just because it is a different crime than you were looking for
The Trumpbots aren't really focused on the "scope" of the investigation. I don't think ANYONE originally expected to find out Trump agreed to JR meeting with Russian spies to get dirt on Hillary to use in the campaign. If information was gained, that is a crime tied directly to Trump.

Anything that is tied to that is part of the "scope" of the investigation because it goes to motive: why would Putin help Trump? Way back last summer, people said well Putin likes Trump because Trump will let him have Crimea and as much of Ukraine and anything else because Trump likes Putin and doesn't like Nato. And there's no crime is a potus wanting a foreign policy that is ill adivised. But, JR and Daddy meeting with the spies changed that. What Trump owes Putin, what other meetings occurred, who was there, were promises made concerning either finances or for policy ..... all those are relevant to motive.

It's simply remarkable that Trump didn't have someone knowledgeable about elections screaming "WE CAN"T DO THAT!" LOL

Wait a minute. Where's the crime in Trump Jr. getting dirt on Hillary?

Be specific.

Second crime Collusion

I think "collusion" is more a media term to describe illegal transactions. It is illegal to obtain anything of value for a foreign country in seeking election. Doing that might involve sort of a slippery slope in that Trump and his team had meetings with Russian spies years before he decided to actually run. Wrong, but not totally beyond understanding and probably not impeachable, imo. A quid pro quo where Trump gives something of value to get something of value ... lock him up. But I'm not sure that explicitly happened.

Collusion is a nice way of saying espionage

Lil Donnie and friends went to meet with the Russians explicitly to get damaging information on a political opponent. That was the bait. The Russians goal was to get agreement to lift economic sanctions. If "this for that" is established, jail time is warranted

But we may never know what exactly went on at that meeting. Unless the Russians recorded it. We know they would never do that

Well, we may learn what occurred in the meeting, and I really doubt there was only one meeting. Flynn or someone else who is willing to flip may sing. But the irony is that Trump all along was going to lift sanctions because a. he wanted a Russia reset thinking he and Putin were buds and b. the Alt-r swing is that its fine of ultranationilists take things with strength. I honestly don't know if Trump promised anything.

Video: AG office reining in a Mueller fishing expedition? - Hot Air

More than a few observers have been wondering if this entire Grand Jury excursion is turning into something of a fishing expedition and whether or not it might wind up being a huge bag of feed for the media circus even if nothing of substance comes of it.

That seems to be on the minds of the folks at the Attorney General’s office. Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein seemed to be throwing some cold water on those expectations today. In an interview with Chris Wallace he pretty much laid down the law and said that if Mueller was heading off into uncharted waters outside the realm of the Russia, Russia, Russiatales he was asked to investigate, he’d need to come back to the Justice Department and check in with them first.

If special counsel Robert Mueller finds any crime outside the scope of the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, then he’ll have to seek permission, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said Sunday."

No fishing for you and your team, sir. Focus on the non-existent Trump-Russia 'Collusion'.
So that just means everything Mueller has the grand jury in DC for comes from the Russia investigation and he never went wild turkey...

So when did that happen?

  • Are you talking about Clinton and THE DNC meeting at the Ukranian Embassy with Ukranian Spies and members of Fusion GPS to plot out ways to discredit and smear President Trump?
  • Or are you talking about James Comey meeting with a British Spy to pay $30,000 for a Trump Dossier?
  • Or are you talking about The Clinton and Obama Sycophants in our intelligence community who have routinely and almost daily stolen classified information and given it to the media?
  • Or are you talking about James Comey who stole classified information and gave it to his Columbia Law Professor who gave it to The Media?
  • Or are you talking about Schultz and Clinton's Pakistani Hackers who stole classified information from The DNC and Congressional Servers and sold it to anyone who would buy it?
  • Or perhaps you are talking to Hillary Clinton who stole classified information and gave it to her friends on Wall Street? And gave so much classified information to so many people, even her maid, that she had to bleach bit 33,000 emails about it.

No. As you snowflakes continue to declare when asked for non-existent evidence, "Mueller is just getting started."

There is no Official Grand Jury.

If there were, there would be a Petition filed with The Courts to impanel one, and granted by the courts, and in that petition would be listed all of the crimes and US CODE violations a Prosecutor wants the Grand Jury to review to invalidate or validate an indictment.

In other words, you cannot have a Grand Jury without a petition to impanel a Grand Jury. And you cannot have a petition to impanel a Grand Jury without filing it with The Courts, and listing the US CODE violations you want a Grand Jury to look at.

And your evidence that Don Jr. received stolen material is...........................? If they did discuss the Magnitsky Act it is not part of the sanctions imposed on Russia.
