My feelings toward the U.S. Government, and yours?

The mind of the U.S. government: take money from everyone by force, use it to create wasteful, inefficient government programs that do not incentivize work but instead keep the poor and disabled dependent, and unable to get off them. Spy on its citizens, steal our liberties in the disguise of terrorism worries, and turn the country into a police state, where you're government will shoot your dog, and terrorize you with swat teams, but don't want to be filmed by its own citizens.

If we had a half-assed leader in the White House, we wouldn't be headed down this God-forsaken path.

The government does tax half of the citizens. They do use the money for infrastructure, military, programs, many of which are inefficient or duplicative; most of the money is given to the half of the citizens that are not taxed. Our citizens are not generally spied upon in the guise of HHS, the government does not shoot citizens dogs or terrorize citizens with SWAT teams, you have a slight case of paranoia.
