NYCarbineer is by all evidence a paid DNC hack. The given contempt he has for the constitution appears to be the position of the fascist democratic party in general. The left has declared war on the US Constitution. They have been crushing the first and second amendments for decades. They claim that one has a "right to privacy" in a public clinic with a staff of abortionists attending, but that where you live, what you do, who you work for, how much you make, who you marry, whether you have successful sex with them, if you own your home, what stocks and investments you have are all open to the government to snoop at will in a 1040 form.

Wrong. The Supremacy Clause puts 'constitutional supremacy over states rights. The 10th amendment only allows states authority that is not in conflict with the constitution.

No it doesn't. A great Constitutional scholar like you should know that an Amendment invalidates any previously existing text in the Constitution that conflicts with it. The Constitution enumerates the powers allowed for the federal government, so any other powers are reserved to the states.

Then name a state power that is in conflict with the Constitution.

That is a bullshit question. You know damned well that very premise is unconstitutional.
The 10th Amendment states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."...That means if a provision is NOT in the US Constitution, then the power to make law in those areas is reserved to the states.
In other words there is no Constitutional provision that prohibits a state from making law. Only a law that is in conflict with the Constitution. For example, with Roe v Wade, states are still regulating abortion as their respective legislatures see fit. Many people believe Roe makes abortion a Constitutional right. It does not.
Same applies to the states that permit homosexual couples to marry. Because the US Constitution does not discuss marriage, the full faith and credit clause does not apply.
Therefore, states that do not recognize or the ones that outlaw such unions do not have to recognize these unions which take place in other states. If this were not the case then ALL states would have to recognize the marriages.
These are two examples of where the 10th Amendment is applicable.

Quick answer: I think it has often, from not doing enough to doing too much to taking away civil liberties and denying civil liberties. We have seen both the Bush and Obama admins as very poor in these areas.
