New house speaker's latest financial disclosure

Financial disclosure starts at $1,000 in total bank accounts in any one bank or financial institution. Every month a congressman gets a $14,500 check. Which if deposited into the bank, certainly triggers having over $1,000 in a bank
They are required to do direct deposits. Maybe he splits up his direct deposits among 20 shell LLCs. You Dimwingers have no problem with that, right?

Ever thought he could have everything in a trust? His income could be going to the trust and the trustee could be paying his bills. If that's the case, it's a smart way to do it.

.
That's an asset. It should be listed.

Besides, he's a MAGAt republican, It's much more likely to be something illegal. It's just what they do.

Charity? Taxes? Or perhaps we're buying into Fake News which is the norm, these days.

You think he takes his salary and just pumps it straight into a charity? And how does he pay this charity? With cash?

What are you talking about fake news for?

Whatever the truth is, Forbes says:

It may be that God himself personally told Mike Johnson he could lie and omit his real estate and other holdings, or perhaps he put them all in the name of a church he controls is Minister of. Could his wife or kids own every last thing? Of course he might have spent his money on gay lovers! — but that is probably too much to hope for. Hope it is a scandal though. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy … and party.

Perhaps the real estate “mansion” that Forbes mentions is really just that huge Noah’s Ark that Mike Johnson has promoted? How does one value a giant life-saving Ark that has never floated and probably never will? Can one value the animals within? Has it opened yet at least as a little amusement park and religious tourist trap?

Anyway, we know all Trump Republicans have difficulty valuing property consistently … so maybe we should just accept that and allow bygones to be bygones …

Maybe he really is just deep in debt from mortgages and personal debts from campaigning. Maybe he has just always figured “God will provide” … or some rich donors. Guess we’ll find out soon.

Given he has 2 kids in college, his family home, has to keep a place in DC, pay bills on both places. It’s better to have a trustee paying things and looking over everything.
