Yes, it was an overreaction from a disgruntled employee.

Who knows what his problem was?? bad day? too many hours worked?

Looks like the right conclusion was reached by LEOs.

It's wrong to blame the airline though, IMO. Once someone makes an accusation police have to investigate.

They did, and determined the employee accused him of something he didn't do.
