Noah's Ark with two of EVERY animal

In the Bible, Genesis 6:9 - 9:17 it says:
Our ancestors were great storytellers.

Isn't it amazing how we can take their objective (picture) language of few words, change it to a modern subjective language of lots of years and come up with a ridiculous, idiotic story of our own that will be forgotten within days, whereas the original, with its many themes continues on through the millennia.

In the Bible, Genesis 6:9 - 9:17 it says:

"And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female."

So, they put two of every species on the ark.

Like sharks, fish, jellyfish....

How on EARTH did fish, and jellyfish and sharks survive on the ark for 40 days and 40 nights?
The flood destroyed air breathing land dwelling creatures, not those in the sea.

The flood was just the most recent ruin/restoration event on earth. The geologic record is replete with such events. Old species are wiped out, new species appear. Some mysteriously cross over. The animals on the ark were specifically chosen by God and were somehow special. The rest were created anew as part of the restoration phase.

Except the Bible says the flood killed all animals on the Earth that weren't in the ark.

What about the fish and other water borne animals?

You've never read Genesis, so no point in talking to you or explaining anything, since you haven't even finished high school English, or any other language.

This doesnt make much sense.
ok. But the only one it should matter to, sense wise....is....drumroll ....me.
In short...the bible was written by man. Flawed man. With agendas. Writing what they THINK God or Jesus meant. Lots of parables there. Interpreted by flawed man. Therefore....:disbelief::dunno:

Its just seems like a contradiction.
You question the bible, but the subject of it, you dont. I just found that weird, is all.

What Noah knew is irrelevant. If the flood happened as fundamentalists believe, the other continents would have been underwater. If Noah's Ark was the only refuge, as is stated in the Bible, no animals not native to the middle east would have survived.
Everything indicates the pre-flood world was very different. The Bible even refers to it as a "world" or Age.

The next "world" is called "the world ro come" and it will be NOTHING like this present world. It will be uninhabitable to physical human beings, only God Beings and spirit.

Also, the animals weren't gathered by Noah. God put it in their spirit to come to Noah.

After the flood, as the waters receded, the animals migrated to their current locations after many generations, or traveled with Man

Israel was far more prosperous than Judah so there were other issues besides different versions of the creation stories.

If that were the case, the dominant factions would have left the others out. They both are from different 'voices' and serve different goals.

Living "FLESH." Do you know what Flesh means? Reading Comprehension sometimes...

And you know this because..... wait, because you made it up. This ISN'T what the Bible says. So are you saying the Bible is WRONG?
